Great spot, very shady, and close to the shower house. We loved it here. Btw, the T Mobile (Google Fi) cell signal was excellent

One of our favorite campgrounds! Beautiful sites. Well maintained. Friendly and helpful gate attendants. Park rangers are always helpful and nice even when there are minor issues.

Ray Behren has been our go to campground for over 30 years when we come to Mark Twain Lake. It has been really nice to see the improvement that have been made over the years- blacktop pads, full service sites, playground and clean bathrooms. Thank you to everyone who makes this a wonderful campground to return to year after year.

We had full hook up in a nice shady site and every thing was perfect.Side note: it sure would be nice if there was Wi-Fi available.

Great spot. A bit short for a longer trailer but surrounded by trees on one side. Very nice. Marina and boat ramp are very close.

Campground was well taken care of. Our RV slot was shady and of good size. The visitors center was worth the trip to explore. Walking trails were well maintained. I was surprised there was only one dump station. The major issue we had camping was the lack of cell coverage. We camped for several days and had to drive to the closest gas station to get any cell service.

I love the area, but the ticks are really bad. Something needs to be done, treat the ticks. Even the deer that we saw was covered in them

We told them we needed at least 65 feet and when we got there our camper wouldn't even fit in the spot and there was no reserved tag on the post so we wasn't sure we was to even park there and it was a Wednesday and there was no one working so we lost our money and had to find another place to camp.

Clean campground. Need to rethink the fishcleaning station. My last 2 fishing trips it has been clogged up at times. Need the basic style like at Spalding or Rt 107 ramp

As a heavy RV'er and camper, We love staying at Ray Behrens campground. With sensible check in and check out times and great rates per stay. RB also offers great access to Mark Twain Lake, spacious sites that are extremely well kept and clean. Deer Run is our go to area for boating trips and getaways. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. The new shower houses are a nice upgrade, and are kept clean and serviced. While not all spaces are the same, we found most are well leveled, properly surfaced (most of them are blacktop or concrete) and graded for the best run off in case of rain. RB is a great choice for a peaceful and friendly escape, complete with walking trails, lake access and plenty of space to spread out and enjoy your stay. They also have great playgrounds for the Kiddos and GrandKiddos too. Plus you will see your Camp Hosts, Park Rangers, Sheriffs, and Corps of Engineers Staff patrolling through the parks regularly looking for anything that needs to be addressed; so you can sleep securely each night. DEFINATELY A MUST STAY!!!!

The site we were in was nice and level, but not all sites are as level as the one we chose. The WIFI was not great in that area.

Campsites are very wide and long. Plenty of room to spread out unlike other campgrounds where the sites are on top of each other.

We had a great week! Every time we go there, we enjoy a special treat at The Rustic Oak just down the road - we highly recommend the BlackBerry Cobbler!

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
