The lack of cell phone service and internet with our AT&T service will keep us from using RAY BEHRENS because we have complete service down the road at Frank Russel.

Ray Behrens fish cleaning station was closed for 2 days so we had to put in at Spaulding. Their cleaning station is wonderful. Campsite was good. Bathrooms were great. Someone even left soap in the bathroom I used.

Lack of restroom with showers in our loop.

It was fun. Many of the RV's decorated for fall/Halloween. If the rain would of held off, it would have been even more fun

I love Ray Behrens. We have been camping there for almost 20 years. I am so sad to see it go downhill. I am not talking about the storm damage. Fully understand that, and actually they have done a really good job clearing the trees. However, the grass is always long now. No one weed eats around the picnic tables anymore. No one weed eats anywhere. It looks awful. All of the campsites are in need of fresh gravel. The fire pits are in need of maintenance. Ray Behrens used to be The Campground.

We stayed on site 8 in fall of 2020, spring of 2021, and summer of 2021. The same mound of weeds has been between sites 7 and 8. In the fall, it was evident there is not a stump or hazard in the mound. So, why not mow it off? Why not weed eat it? There are numerous issues of these clumps of weeds around the campground. We stopped a ranger, and he offered to come back and weed eat the spot. Very nice of him. We said no that was fine. Just wanted to bring it to his attention. Very impressed he offered to take care of it.

On Saturday evening we went for a walk. There were numerous dogs off their leashes. Numerous. Stopped a different ranger. He said, "Yeah, I saw that." He did not go back and talk to the campers. He just left.

In the old days, the rangers came around. They asked campers to move vehicles off the grass. No more. It's pretty much anything goes now. I know everyone is going to say but COVID. This down hill slide began before Covid. I love Ray Behrens, the lake, the area. I just am so sad to see it go downhill.

Everything that we needed was very conveniently located. The campsite itself was great! We enjoyed our 1st family camping experience.

We enjoyed our stay and hope that the park opens up the other two campgrounds on the property soon.
