The equestrian campsites are very nice. They are level with water and electric hookup at each site. Dump station is available as you go out. Stalls for the horses have ample room. We are fortunate to have such nice facilities.

too much concrete, too many people, not enough trees between sites. As I suspected would happen, with all the so-called improvements, people are flocking to Frank Russell abandoning other parks. It's hard to make reservations a head of time when you're a farmer, and nearly impossible to make them a day or two in advance. Along with many of my farming friends, we've been forced to go elsewhere. Change it back (just kidding).

We love camping here! The new concrete pads have spoiled us along with full hook-ups at most of the campsites. The sites themselves are beautiful, not crowded at all. We enjoy the trails and exploring the area. Of course, if you're into boating or fishing, the lake is close and the marina well-kept. There's an archery range and a shooting range too.

Very nice campground. Plenty of space at site and between sites. Plenty of hiking trails. Located right on the lake

Love the campground. Just needs to cut down some brush so you can enjoy the lake from your campsite.

We enjoy FRID very much but some of the sites afford more seclusion than others. Site 45 was long (single driveway) but very close to the site behind and in front of it. Barking dogs (2) and their dog-owning friends (2 more dogs) from across the road met up for outdoor meals within feet of our campsite, creating a cacophony of barking like Ive never had to tolerate before, at this or any other campground. NO correction to the dogs - NO taking them inside the trailer and NO camp host on duty created a very unpleasant situation. These were retired-age folks that I thought would know better and have a better comprehension and respect for camping etiquette. After three days of this, my husband had a few minutes discussion with them -a bit heated - and things improved after that but it shouldnt have to come to that if campers would practice basic manners. So, I cant recommend these three sites. WAY too close together.

Full hookups, large level sites, clean and quiet. Great campground.

I love the park. The sites are well spaced and situated to give maximum privacy. The new concrete is great. It could be closer to level. But still awesome compared to some gravel sites. Overall 10 out of ten.

We found the facilities well kept up and maintained. We enjoyed the space we had and didn't find it tight or to close to anyone else. Some sites are more level than others, but those sites with the new pads made it easier to level by lowering the front of the trailer

The nicest RV park around the Lake. It would be nice to improve Ray Behrens and Indian Creek the way you did Frank Russell.

The Park and site were excellent. We had an issue at first with the 30 amp breaker, but using a dog bone we were able to use the 50 amp until they fixed it the very next day. We will definitely be coming back to this and other Army Corp of Engineer parks.

Beautiful park well maintained. If I had a complaint about anything it would be the lack of a attendant.

One of our favorites campgrounds to camp at! Hosts are welcoming, sites and shower house are clean. Plenty of space, but close enough if you are camping with someone!

Beautiful spacious campsites with newish concrete pads. The grounds are well maintained with plenty of grassy area. Trails thru the whole campground. Peaceful and super quiet. The path to the lake from the campgrounds is not long but its a climb with stairs. Fishing alongside the lake is easy with shelf rocks to sit on. Swimming in the lake is accessible but no real beach area. The fishing pond is gorgeous at sunset, what a view. The horse corals are in decent shape. Highly recommend for a relaxing time.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
