We come here every year. The amenities are great, the people are friendly, and its a beautiful place to came with loads of lake access trails. I proposed to my fiance at one of these lake access trails during our most recent trip and it was magical and perfect! Highly recommend this place for a couples getaway, a family vacation, or even a group of friends.

Our go to place for the total camping adventure. Quiet, lots of wildlife, Friendly people sharing ideas. The new shower houses are great, clean & roomy. Our favorite Part of Missouri.

The campground was clean and quiet. Bathroom/shower house was mostly clean and had great water pressure. It is a big park, so we drove to the swimming area each day. Mark Twain's birth place in Florida, MO isn't far, so we did go to that. Sadly it was closed for the 4th of July. We plan to go back again.

We always love staying at Indian Creek. The site we were in had a pretty good view of the lake and it was quiet as usual.

We stayed here to break up the drive while driving to another destination and were pleasantly surprised with our stay. We wished we could've stayed a few nights. Our site was overlooking the lake and we the bathrooms/showers near our site were recently rennovated.

Great shade, full hook ups, and spacing between sites was perfect. Not too close. The private beach was so nice.

We stayed in site 53 for 8 days. The park was clean and well kept for our entire stay. We have Verizon phones and a Verizon hot spot that worked great for the days that I needed to work while there. Site 53 is large, however, it is a little tricky to back into with a 42 5th wheel. It does have graduated levels with beams at each level, but can be managed as long as you can do stairs. You have about 3 to 4 hours of sun on the south side from about 10am to 2pm, but otherwise full shade. Since it is on the end of the inner loop, the site has lots of green space that is shaded all day also. During the week, the campground is very quiet and peaceful. On the weekend it picks up a bit, but not too bad. Definitely will be back to Indian Creek.

It had rained and the ground outside our camper door was mud. then it rained more the next day and it looked like a lake with our camp rug floating in the muddy water. the campsite has not had any gravel put down for quite some time. Not likely that i will return to this site anytime soon. Other than that it was ok. thanks Larry

Stayed here two nights, no issues. Centralized water spigots, no water connection at the site.

We had a good time there. Campground was nice. Make sure you take plenty of off for ticks and mosquitoes as expected when camping in the woods

The campground and facilities were very nice. No phone signal at all, but I have U.S. Cellular.Security and park rangers came through daily.Lots, and lots of ticks.

Well maintained campground with a nice swimming beach.

Beautiful park and very roomy campsites. Our only issue was due to the firewood restrictions. We didnt bring any firewood with us and thought wed be able to buy some from the park itself when we got there. Nope. They do not sell firewood within the park. We had to ask where we could buy some, and then drive a short distance to buy our firewood.

We had a great mid-week trip. Sites are well spaced and so many to choose from. Bathrooms were clean, and the whole place was well kept. We used two different boat ramps and the swimming beach, all were in good shape. Our site could use some grading work. Heavy rains flow right over the site.
@SherryS7952665 · Camped on Jun 10, 2025 at Campsite #26
The park was nice and quite when not familiar with the campground, it is hard to find your site due to all of the different terms. If there was signs with site numbers, it would be better. We only seen a few of those. Also, the bathrooms couldve been cleaner other than that it was a great night stay.
@JohnS6889697 · Camped on Jun 8, 2025 at Campsite #21
Great park with great campsites and a wonderful swimming area. Just wish the patch to the beach was a little smoother. Tuff on a wagon as well as a person pulling it back up! Full hook-up sites are fantastic, plenty of room, concrete pads, table and fire pit. Lots of poison Ivy between sites! I will be going back!

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
