Wonderful, spacious campground. Nice showers. Trails need a bit of upkeep.

We had a great time camping, went to a near by bar to watch Monday nite football at the Rooster for the Frist time, very friendly place.

I love Ray Behrens. We were in 2B and the space was wonderful and even. Due to health reasons, we haven't been here for 2 years, and they have really taken care of property. Already trying to figure out when we are coming back next year. Can't wait.

Ray Behrens (Deer Run) has become our favorite campground. Why? It is peaceful, small and beautiful!

Ray Behrens campground is our favorite. We have stayed in Deer Run several times. It is quiet and the sites are far enough apart to enjoy a respite. The bathroom situation is being addressed and long overdue. Last week we saw the new shower houses come in Deer Run. Looking forward to that improvement. While you are there go to the Clarence Canon Dam Visitor Center and even consider the drive to the Mark Twain Museum. The best part is the quiet!

This is our favorite place to camp, however, the grass was very long and needed to be cut.

No bathroom or shower house until they build a replacement. Absolutely nowhere to go in tornado season. Fall and winter would’ve been the time to tear down and replace not during camping and tornado season. No excuse just poor planning!

beautiful site we love the area , but due to low temperatures coming theyshut off water dot 2 days and we just packed up and left .

This was our first time at Ray Behrens Recreation Area campground. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Campground is very well maintained. Facilities (restrooms, showers, etc.) were all clean and in good working order. Grounds were very well maintained as well. We will definitely be staying here again. The relatively close proximity to the towns of Hannibal, Hermann and New Haven make for some enjoyable day trips while staying here.

Love the space and the level pad for parking camper. The grassy area is great for the kids
