Campsites were well managed. Bathrooms were clean. Nice campsite. Would definitely camp there again!

Amazing campsite! Lots of large rocks to jump around on, and more secluded. Nice bear lockers, as well as dumpsters close to the campsite. Only reason it isn't 5 stars is due to some bathroom issues (other campers not closing the lid of the toilet, allowing flies/smells in). Notes were left and put up to remind other campers to treat the bathroom properly, so it was addressed. Some trash left behind at our campsite by the previous visitors, but only took a few minutes to clean up. Remember to always leave a campsite cleaner than when you arrived! Overall a fantastic time!

Close to a small river, the campground is basic. Very calm. Very close to albahma hills. Less worm than other locations in lone pine

I booked for site #12. When I arrived, I noticed that the camp host was using a generator at site #11. So, we ask them to change to another site. The toilet was clean, the fresh water was available. However, some of the tap has a rusty taste.

The campsite offers a beautiful view of the mountains and has clean(ish) bathrooms. This campground offers ZERO to MINIMAL shade, and as such was hostile during the day in mid-july. I could see this being an amazing campground in early fall or late spring, but if you book it during summer, please bring plenty of water and shade. Even with filtration, the water overwhelmingly tastes like rust.

Made reservation for one night as we were traveling home with my 23ft travel trailer to AZ. The site was very narrow and uneven and very difficult to back into without hitting a boulder. It also required backing in while taking a sharp turn while being up hill which was we decided was too much so we left to find better camping and also someplace we could plug in the AC as it was in the triple digits there with not much shade. I felt the campsite description was lacking and did not meet our needs.

The best part was the views of Whitney portal and all the stars at night. This spot is off the main road and we had people walking through our spot to get to the day use area. Bathrooms are a little bit of a walk as theyre by the day use area. Spot does have a table,bear box, and fire ring, with a very generous amount of space. There is a creek that runs through the campground, and thusly were quite a few bugs swarming at all hours. The potable water spigot is right at the end of this stall. We did have some issues getting the truck level as the pad had a fair amount of asphalt missing where.

My favorite campsite in the area. Most stunning views of sunrise on Mt. Whitney and a great dark sky area. Simple facilities, but has the essentials of pit toilet, potable water, firewood with the camp host, and great campsites. Stayed here before summitting Mt. Whitney, way better views of the mountains then the portal.

We stayed at site #38 on Lone Pine with a 29ft 5th wheel. The site needed some work to level the rig, but we were able to get it done. The biggest challenge was parking it. Our site was right up against the gate entrance to the camping area. So, when we backed it up, we had the challenge of getting around both gate posts and a number of very large rocks (too large to move). It took LOTS of ins and outs to get it into position, but we finally got it done. After that that, the site and the RV park was fine. It was close to Whitney Portal, Movie Road and Lone Pine downtown. Recommendation.....if you have a trailer, you may want to choose another site # other than #38.

Site 14 has a crumbling asphalt parking site that would not have been able accommodate our trailer. Host was not available at check in, nor did I see them during our stay. Luckily there was another site available so we switched sites, called the phone number listed and left a message about the situation.The campground is absolutely gorgeous and in good repair except for some areas of crumbling asphalt at sites and main campground road but that is to be expected with challenging weather conditions.

Amazing views and great campground next the mountains. Very small site that barely fit my teardrop and telluride, but did fit

Beautiful area!! easy to find (we downloaded offline google maps). Very friendly host. Vault toilet well kept and clean. Water spigot and firewood available. Big bear box. Nice to hear the creek, very relaxing. We stayed at #12, nice tree for shade and can fit 2 tents. Most campsites can only park 1 car. Easy access to trails and town.

Stayed at site 17 right on the river. Absolutely beautiful and fortunately just 3 other campers there. Last day people started arriving for the long weekend and many had very large rigs. Caught (and released) 4 fish. I love how even at my old age its a nice walk to the lake. Everything was very clean including the bathrooms. Campground host Dave was super helpful and he had great conversation.

Such a marvelous campground! We didnt expect these close views to the mountains. The spots were different, some a bit uneven, but nonetheless ok!The Alabama hills are a must: so many rocks, so little people!

Literally one of my favorite places. The view alone is enough to keep bringing me back.

Every site has a great view of Whitney. Some sites are pretty flat. Others have a bit of an incline. Great tables and fire pits. Very clean outhouses. Lots of trash receptacles. I enjoyed the sound of the nearby creek and I was so happy to see a blue heron perched on a rock looking for fish.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
