Very nice location when temps start to cool. Bathrooms were clean considering. Far enough away from light pollution, Milky-way, nice camp spots and people were all friendly, several families with kids enjoying the outdoors.

Beautiful camp ground. Nice sites, with a stream running along the edge of the grounds.

Wonderful campground, site 1 was really spacious. Close to Whitney Portal and Alabama Hills. Amazing views of the Eastern Sierras. We will definitely come back!

Very narrow sites for RVs. Hard to back up. Clean bathrooms.

This is one of the most scenic campgrounds you can imagine, in the shadow of Mt. Whitney and minutes away from the Alabama Hills. Bathroom was clean. Nice to have potable water on site. I highly recommend campsite 4 which was spacious and has spectacular views.

My buddies and I get together once a year for a 3-4 day camping trip and this year we had site 41 and 42. These are walk-in sites meaning that your vehicle is NOT beside you. Its a good 50 feet from parking to your sites so a good cart for your stuff would be beneficial. Site 41 has fairly easy access to lone pine creek via a couple small paths. Bring a small fishing pole and you can fish in a few pools that have some rainbow trout! (Nets are illegal) Site 41 oddly connects with site 42 so for our group, it was pretty great. There is no shade at either of these spots so some pop ups would be recommended. these sites easily accommodated 3 tents each. Randy, the campground host was awesome! Very friendly, had firewood readily available, and very accommodating. The campground was quiet, and has easy access to the town of Lone Pine (10 min drive) and easy access to Whitney Portal (10 min drive or 3 hour hike). Would absolutely stay here again!

The camp host was super friendly and had a cute dog. The camp grounds are tucked away off the main road. 10 mins to lone pine, and 10 mins to whitney portal. You can hear the stream on the edge of the camp sites. Pit toilets were clean, but lots of flies. I would definitely recommend.

Beautiful camp site, even better views of the sierra's. Restrooms are kept very clean.

Nice campground, some sites are small in size and slope of angle hard to level for a trailer. But nothing compares to the beauty of Mt. Whitney. The town of Lone Pine has a great museum and the Alabama hills are cool to drive around. Best of both worlds!

Plenty of shady sites and other sites near the water.

Beautiful, hidden gem with a creek and gorgeous views of Mt. Whitney to one side and the valley toward Lone Pine on the other. First-Come-First-Serve and on site host but you can select a spot and slip your reservation & payment in the box. Most pull-ins are a little bit of a squeeze, but generally flat and stable for RV or car campers. Bathrooms are decent for a campground but bring your headlamp and disinfectant. A great spot for hikers and families.

Lone Pine campground was well kept and had easy access to Whitney portal and to Lone Pine. The river/stream that runs trhough the campground can be fished. Most of the sites are in the trees and so get a break from the wind. Much warmer then Whitney Portal campground, but nice for most of the year. August was hot during the day but not past 90.

We visited Lone Pine campground Aug 8-10, and had an absolute blast! Randy- the camp host, welcomed my friend (she arrived earlier than I did), and changed our walk-in campsite to one that was available near our parking spot, and by a beautiful trout stream. In the sizzling summer heat, this site (39!) provided reprieve, as there was a nice shady spot near our lunch spot, and right by the stream. I highly recommend a visit to Lone Pine, and stay at this campground! The restrooms were kept clean, and welcoming. And the views! Oh my the views! Mt. Whitney is so astonishingly grand from this campsite. And the sound of the stream is peaceful and comforting in the evening. Other amenities included, a quick drive to town (for most grocery needs) and day hikes around! i.e cottonwood, and Whitney portal. Can't wait to visit again!

Amazing campsite! Lots of large rocks to jump around on, and more secluded. Nice bear lockers, as well as dumpsters close to the campsite. Only reason it isn't 5 stars is due to some bathroom issues (other campers not closing the lid of the toilet, allowing flies/smells in). Notes were left and put up to remind other campers to treat the bathroom properly, so it was addressed. Some trash left behind at our campsite by the previous visitors, but only took a few minutes to clean up. Remember to always leave a campsite cleaner than when you arrived! Overall a fantastic time!

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
