Best campground in the area. You are in the Alabama Hills with lots to explore and the campground in on the way to Whitney Portal. Good restaurants in town if you are so inclined. These are the cleanest restrooms I have ever encountered at any campground I've ever been to!!
Most camping sites are within hearing of the creek, very relaxing.

I’m sure the site would have been fine. My issue was that I reserved a site for the Thursday before Memorial Day. The system would not let me reserve for the weekend - it said first come-first served . I figured, no problem, I will already be in the spot. Then, shortly before the trip I saw that somewhere along the line someone opened up that site for a reservation over the weekend and we wouldn’t be able to stay. Not cool. Wound up staying at a great site at Tuttle Creek a couple miles away. But still...

The bathroom is clean most of the time thanks to the hardworking camp host.the campsites are very close to one another though and not much privacy.

Nice location just North of Alabama Hills. Campground is located right next to a pretty descent creek so at night you will be sooth to sleep by sounds of rushing water. Vault toilets are clean and water is available. Sites are big with a picnic table and a fire ring. You don't feel crowded, there is plenty of room. There were at least 3 or 4 spots that would fit 40+ rv (combined length). There is only a few spots to park toads or extra vehicles. Firewood available to purchase from the host. Only thing that we didn't like was $8 reservation fee, but that goes with every spot reserved on recreation.gov site.
