This campground is amazing. Close, easy access to Lake McDonald. If you are planning on going on Going-To-The-Sun Road, this campground is outside the checkpoint so you will still need a car reservation to go on that road (or wait and go between 3pm and 7am, when access is not restricted) Site A26 is VERY close to another site and close to the bathrooms (not close enough to hear the bathrooms) It had limited privacy, but that is to be expected with such a large and popular destination. Overall, we would absolutely stay here again.

Quiet and nice sites.

Our family of 5 really enjoyed this campground. Loop A was nice & quiet and had warm-ish showers and close access to Lake McDonald for a quick dip. It felt peaceful and safe here. A great experience; our favorite campground we experienced (of 3) in Glacier.

Beautiful spot, neighbors real close but still worth it!

Great sites on the lake. Running water and sinks in the bathroom.

Good experience, like when I was a kid, with big trees and quiet. Nice staff, good dump station.

Campground and campsite were all very nice. Two showers were currently out of order, so the wait times for a shower were quite long.

My daughter and boyfriend stayed at Fish Creek C112. No cell service but, they told me they loved the campsite and being by the water. Had a blast zip lining and kayaking. They said it was one of their favorite places after hitting many national parks throughout the country.

Great location. Nice and quiet. Feels very secluded (which we like). A short walk down to the lake. Bugs werent too bad; did get a few bites.

Love FishCreek Campground, it is our first choice when we are in Glacier National Park. Stayed in loop C and It is nice and mostly peaceful. Lots of tree covered for shade. Camp lot was little smaller than hoped but we made it work. Showers in loop A, were as expected for a campground shower. Water was either lukewarm or warmer which was nice. But only 2 of 4 of the showers were open. The other two were being fixed. Staff do go around daily to make sure people are following rules for their campsites which is nice so that to avoid bears. I would recommend first time FishCreek campers to look for video of someone doing a walkthrough of the campground to make sure your campsite works for your needs . Some spots can be small or on a slant/hill. But overall the campground is very nice and lake McDonald access is a plus.

Our campsite was beautiful and every staff member or ranger that we met was super nice! The campground itself was also fairly well maintained. My biggest issue was that there is only ONE working shower area for the ENTIRE campground (all loops). Unfortunately, whenever we tried to shower, most of the stalls were closed and there was usually a long line. Additionally, the shower areas were absolutely disgusting, with bugs and mud smeared over the walls, floors, and bench. The water was also not hot at all, in any of the bathrooms. The bathroom in C loop was usually pretty clean, but had no hot water for handwashing. The hand dryer in the bathroom was also not working and there were no paper towels to make up for it. In terms of activities, do NOT plan on using the shuttles during your trip. We had to wait over 2 hours to board the shuttle at Apgar Visitors Center and another hour to come back down from Logans Pass. If you have a vehicle, try to wake up early and get on Going-to-the-Sun Rd. before the timed entry. Get on the road before 5am if you want to park at Logans Pass.

Beautiful campsite! Kind of close to the neighboring sites but not bad. Decent shade and just a short walk to Lake McDonald.

nice campground. my space was small, tent barely fit but i was able to get in at the last minute so felt fortunate campers next to me were noisy, campground host was not available.

Very friendly staff and a great campground if you are in a RV or enclosed vehicle and can dampen the noise of generators. If you are in a tent make sure you are in loop C. Unfortunately when we arrived the RV next to us ran their loud generator for an hour so we chose a different campground at Glacier. The other issue is one has to book a visit on Going to the Sun Road. imho this should be included. Other then that a great campground for families needing activities.

Large comfortable campground with full amenities in a beautiful location. Be prepared for a lively environment with many, many children running around, lightly supervised.

Great site, pretty private besides the one adjacent campsite. Very close walk to the lake and good trees for multiple hammocks
@Oleksandr8DC47 · Camped on Jul 7, 2025 at Campsite #D163
Good, comfortable camping. Clean, enough space, very quiet in the evening. Inconveniently, the shower is only on Circle A, and out of 4 showers only 2 worked.

Great campground, great ranger services, great location.

Overall a really nice campground. Bathrooms had sinks and flushing toilets, and there was a gray water disposal sink too. There is a nice access to the lake shore with a gravel beach, and a nice hiking trail along the shore. Staff was friendly and helpful. Potable water spigots all had warnings for elevated levels of magnesium and advised against the elderly and very young drinking it. They also said not to boil it because that concentrates the magnesium so you will need to go get water for boiling elsewhere. The Apgar Visitor Center had potable water and was a short distance drive away although getting a parking spot there is tough. The best time to go was after 4 pm. The one big drawback with this campground is the size of the tent pads. We have a large tent (16'x16'), and it barely fit abutted next to the fire pit. Due to this, we didn't have a campfire. There were many sites smaller than ours and some that were very slanted. Some sites were much better suited to small RVs or vans than tents because of the sloped areas.

We loved that it was a good distance away from the entrance. It was quiet and dark. Had a fabulous 7 days!!

Quiet, nice shade and bathrooms were clean

The campground itself was wonderful peaceful and well kept up and relatively flat. My only criticism is the fact that while there are four loops of campsites, the only place that there are showers is in loop a. And when we were there two of the four available showers were out of order. That is a lot of campsites for only two showers.
@ScottW5600178 · Camped on Jul 3, 2025 at Campsite #C113
Nestled among the trees, mere feet from the waters of lake MacDonald, we were in heaven. We got warmth and Shaffer in equal amounts. The trails were amazing. The showers were limited due to repairs on two or of the four, but bathrooms were always maintained and clean. Would Seguin come back again.

One my all time favorite campgrounds. Loops c and D are the best.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
