Campsite was far from level as were many of the other sites I noticed. Made it very hard to get trailer set up properly. Otherwise the campground was fine.

C110 is a great site with easy access to Lake McDonald. Decent spot for a tent. Site is right off hiking trail. Fairly open, not much tree coverage. Quite loop and close to bathroom. Would definitely choose this site again.

Awesome spot. Across from the bathroom and dishwater dump station. Backs to creek and can walk down to it! Saw a handful of deer come right through our space. So beautiful!

Not enough TP in the bathroom. Lots of mule deer pretending to be bears. Limited bugs.
@NicH8E63DAC89F · Camped on May 30, 2025 at Campsite #D164
This campground is dark, way too packed in with small sites jammed next to each other.

Our campsite hosts were very friendly, professional, and helpful. The restrooms and showers were cleaned daily by Park staff. Numerous times deer (doe and buck) would meander through the camping area. Visiting Apgar Village, Lake McDonald Lodge, hiking the Avalanche Lake Trail, and viewing McDonald Creek Falls are all a must-see. We stayed in late May to early June, and the Going To The Sun Road was closed from Avalanche Campground to Logan's Pass and beyond due to snow and debris accumulation still needing to be cleared, but hikers and bicyclers could go to within a couple of miles of Logan's Pass.

Love this campground. Much quieter and more private than Apgar. Clean campsites and bathrooms, sufficient water faucets around the campground, and the coolest amphitheater in the Park. For newbies, two notes: the water faucets are non-threaded so do not expect to fill trailers in the campground (the dump station does have potable water), and the listed maximum site lengths are not to be believed. The Park has redone their descriptions to say the max vehicle length is total vehicle plus trailer plus any other towed equipment. Our site was listed as maximum 24 feet. Our trailer is 25', our total vehicle length is 45', and we had absolutely no problems getting in the site. Same with all the other sites in our party.

Great campground, well spaced out and fantastic camp hosts.

Excellent spot next to the river, lake, and rocky point. Site was easy. There was no iron cooktop for the fire and the womens toilet paper was out so maybe grab some extra supplies. Great stay will return!

Beautiful, quiet campground and so close to the lake. We loved it and well be back!

my site was large and relatively private with lots of trees

Not the greatest camp sites, but hot showers and clean campground off the main road

Awesome views from Lake McDonald. Super clean and easy to get to site. Sites are fairly private. Our stay was amazing!

Beautiful place to camp with clean bathrooms (flush toilets) and an amazing lake. I would prefer to stay as close to the lake as I can next time.
@AbbyK8769498 · Camped on Aug 29, 2024 at Campsite #C105
We had a very nice site - right by the lake but some trees around for privacy.
@TinaM2263354 · Camped on Aug 27, 2024 at Campsite #B43
We stayed in B43 this time and it wasnt real level, we are in a Sprinter 24 foot van. Close to the bathroom and very shaded, dont count on getting Starlink signal or sunshine for your solar panels in this site (or very many others), but it does feel really good to stay in Glacier and we like to ride our bikes from Fish Creek to Apgar - great bike trails ! The lady at the gate was extremely friendly as were all of the Rangers we came in contact with! Thanks NPS

Staff was great. Very helpful, easy to reach and very personable. Camp site was clean, easy to access. Did Avalance Lake hike, fished the North Flathead River and went to North Bridge. Lots of beautiful scenery.

Lovely location! Spots were a bit tight but it was a great camp ground.
@BillG2092969 · Camped on Aug 25, 2024 at Campsite #C133
Check in was easy and helpful. Overall accommodations great. great that C loop was generator free. Only complaint is that site C133 was particularly steep. This was not reflected in the description on the web site when making the reservation and made it hard to level a trailer. Please note significant slope on site description or site photos.

Great spot to camp. Big spaces
@CraigH8329221 · Camped on Aug 22, 2024 at Campsite #C139
The idea of free shuttles is great, but execution was very bad. Standing in line for 2 hours a day to catch a shuttle was not a memorable experience.
@BenjaminJ06609 · Camped on Aug 21, 2024 at Campsite #B75
Location was great, and the campground was peaceful. The downside was the area around the picnic table and fire ring was covered with dog hair.
@TomD9914097 · Camped on Aug 20, 2024 at Campsite #A34
Location in the park is perfect, you are near Apgar for the shuttles and stores are in fair distance. You can even go to Lake McDonald by foot. A lot of room on the booked spot. The showers and bathrooms were very clean and we were very happy with the ammenities. We would really recommend this campground!
@GeorgeC007DA80 · Camped on Aug 19, 2024 at Campsite #D166
The people were very friendly and helpful. The campsite was clean and beautiful. The Going to The Sun Road is worth the car trip. At age 65 you would think I would know this, but do make sure you have seam-sealed your tent before you go camping. The evening we were there it rained and hailed, and we decided to high-tail it out of there before getting any more soaked than we already were.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
