Great site, great hosts. As with other NPS campsites, facilities are tired, and we know why. Staff and volunteers are doing an amazing job of holding it together.

We love National Parks. This is our second time camping in one. Fish Creek was very nice, but sites are a bit close. Very disappointed and frankly disgusted at the condition of the showers. we stayed three nights and never cleaned. Gobs of gross hair and general wood, rocks and dirt. No signs anywhere reminding people to clean up their own mess!! and where we’re the cleaning crews?!?

Our visit was outstanding. This park is other-worldly in its beauty-not just the glaciers and jagger peaks but the beautiful forests and waterfalls. The "creeks" -more like raging rivers-were awesome. Parents need to be very vigilant with kids as there are not many fences.Going to the Sun Road was not open past Avalanche campground-still plowing snow- but we took the hike up to Avalanche lake -it was difficult -2 miles uphill -but so very worth it. Everyone on the trail was very friendly and we met people from all over the country and some from outside the U.S. We even saw a black bear, cautiously checkin us out from behind trees. Our camp site was large with many trees. Very private. Loved it.We liked that the park was not jam-packed crowded like it is in July and August. The only bummer was that we couldn't eat at the Lake McDonald Lodge, due to a staff shortage. They only took Lodge residents for meals.

Loved this campground! We were in loop A. Plenty of space, right near Lake McDonald (we often spent the evenings appreciating sunset at the day use area), lots of trees and shade, and showers! The facilities were just great. We would definitely return to this campground.

We loved our time at Fish Creek campground in loop C. We were right by the lake which was great! I think our site was C115. We had to split our nights between 2 campsites to get all the nights we wanted to stay. Our time in loop A was not as good, mostly because of loud neighbors. Glacier National Park was awesome!

Stayed in Site A-6. It was great. Big enough for a tent or small camper. Somewhat shady, and quiet even though it is on the loop that allows generators. A mule deer walked through our campsite regularly and there were lots of chipmunks/squirrels. Also lots of mosquitoes, so bring your repellent!
