We stayed at Fish Creek for 10 days and absolutely loved it. It's proximity to Glacier cannot be beat, and it has a great picnic area on Lake McDonald for days you just want to relax and have a beach day close to camp. The showers were great; however two of them were closed so there were only two open for the entirety of the campground to use. That was my only complaint and even that was quite manageable, it was fun chatting with other campers while we waited our turn. Beautiful, big sites, clean bathrooms, plenty of water available. I will be staying here again next time I am in Glacier!

Nice campground. My site had a large parking space. I could fit two cars there. Flat and open. Clean vault toilets. Very very quiet. I think it's almost the perfect campground. Road to get here sucks though. Roads doesn't look very maintained.

We felt so fortunate to spend four nights in this campground in one of the most popular national parks. The campground was pleasant, quiet, and surrounded by nature. Bathrooms were clean and had a flush dump station dedicated to gray water and emptying portable toilets!

Beautiful spot, loved being in the park. The site was easy to back into with our 20' trailer. Great bike rides around Lake McDonald and hiking within the park. Often there were programs at the amphitheater which was within walking distance from the campground

If you need to set up and stay, this campground is the perfect base for exploring Glacier. Overall, I'd recommend moving campsites each night and explore that area. We stayed in A, B, & D loop during our stay. A has showers, D has a trail to the lake, B you have to hike or drive. The trail to the showers, is a hike with steep inclines.

Right next to the main entrance and the key to enjoying the park is getting up early in the morning and making your way to whatever location you plan on hiking or attending for the day. Great campsite with huckleberries to snack on and deer grazing through out the day. I highly recommend this campsite.
