The campground was clean and the campers were respectful of others. Our site was on the creek and a pleasant walk to the lake. When we camp, we arent sightseeing but rather just taking in the closeness to nature. We were only there for one night so not a lot of time to widely explore.

All the staff were friendly and tried to accommodate us as much as they could. They were all wonderful.

We stayed for 6 nights at site 161. Fish Creek runs along the rear of the site and it was wonderful to listen to as we slept in our tent. We were there in late May / early June, which made for cool nights (in the 30's), so we brought along plenty of blankets (including electric blankets w/ solar and gas generators). Glacier is amazing and Fish Creek is a great place to see it all from! Going to the Sun road was only open to Avalanche but there was plenty to see on the West side (with a day trip to Two Medicine / St. Mary). Over all wonderful experience.

Gorgeous campground!! Clean sites and restrooms; considerate neighbors; and friendly, helpful rangers. Check out the picnic area just nearby for a great swimming and picnicking spot. Apgar Village is only a few minutes away. Truly a beautiful and relaxing place to stay in Glacier. Can't wait to return!

What a superb campground hidden in a cedar forest! The sites are spacious and our neighbors were very quiet and respectful. The short hike in the woods to learn about the forest fires in the area was also worthwhile. I hope to return this summer, and many many more.
