Taking the very short hike to the shore from the campground for sunrise is not to be missed.

We managed to book a campsite just a few days before our fall foliage trip. Visit around mid-October and youll be greeted by vibrant, colorful leaves everywhere. Peaceful setting, fresh air, gorgeous views, and the friendliest rangers totally worth bringing all our gear from Texas just for this one-night stay the experience was wonderful.

Family favorite campground, passed through the generations. Busier than it used to be but still our favorite.

This is the BEST site to choose! The extra walk-in provides extra space for people to toss a ball, play, and create a buffer from other campers. The site had a flat surface to be comfortable at night, have a fire, and enjoy cards at the picnic table. The site is surrounded by nature that prevents you from seeing campers behind us. I LOVED this feature...surrounded by nature! The site was a short walk from the shore to see the sun rise. It was great to have the campground a short drive from Bar Harbor. We visited more than we expected due to the rain and a need for bandages (injury). The cute town entertained us as we people-watched. We really enjoyed our time at the site. I HIGHLY recommend this site for families with kids! You will appreciate the extra space! Note: the driveway for the camper next door (A031) is close, but we were so far back that we did not clearly hear or see them.

The campground was clean and quiet. Everyone was respectful and the park staff and rangers went out of their way to keep the campground and bathrooms in order and to help campers when needed.

The campground needs a bike trail to connect to the carriage roads without having to get onto a dangerous highway.

We were able to hike directly to the Cadillac Mountain South Ridge Trail and to Thunder Hole right from our campsites.

The camp site was big, clean and quiet. The bathrooms were very close by to B119 which was super convenient. The location was perfect to easily access Acadia national park and Bar Harbor. Loved it!!

This was great! But as you can see on the map its next to a path to the bathroom, so a bit more foot traffic next to the site.

The campsite was spacious and clean. The restrooms were convenient and very well maintained. Plus, the campground is just minutes walking to the ocean and a beautiful sunrise.

Super cute campsite. The bathrooms were clean but there was never any hand soap so that was disappointing. Other than that, I had a great stay. Good location, quiet, and felt secluded enough.

Excellent facilities and camping sites! Breathtaking scenery. Can't wait to return.
@Elizabeth37674 · Camped on Oct 6, 2025 at Campsite #B84
Great, easy site. Short walk to bathrooms. Only things of note are, this site is right on the path that cuts through camp, so there is some minor foot traffic. Also, the entire site pad is slightly graded.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
