Clean, almost level campsite. Lacking privacy and was a little loud.

It was a Nice Quiet Campground and an excellent place to stay while exploring ANP

Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. The spotty internet became a minor problem. It sure would be nice if there was a place to take a shower.

Beautiful space, well maintained, kind / efficient staff.

There were trash bits (paper towels, popsicle wrappers, etc) all over the site. It was mostly gravel, and where it was the slightest bit grassy, you would have lit your tent on fire with proximity to the fire pit. Underwhelming.

Quiet, wooded, and close to the beach. Perfect place for our trip.

Beautiful campground. Sites are set back from the road offering privacy and nicely wooded. They have the biggest fire pits Ive seen in a campground, like mini hearths. The bathroom was clean. My only complaint is that there were no ranger programs at the Seawall campground in the evenings while I was there (but several at the other campgrounds in the park). Seawall is on the quieter side of the park but still easy access to groceries, trails, picnic areas, etc.

Great experience, the bathrooms were clean, short walk to the seawall, camp sites level and easy to get in and out of.

I was really worried that this campsite was going to be uncomfortably close to the bathrooms with lots of people walking by but even though it has a view of the bathroom building, it is nicely removed down its own little path and surrounded by trees. So many lovely birds were singing right nearby throughout the day. It actually felt quite private, it is completely removed from the road and the location is super convenient. It has its own parking spot and the trash and dishwashing station are right nearby. The water spigot is the only thing that requires more of a walk. The bathrooms are also very clean. The whole campground is wonderfully close to the Wonderland and Ship Harbor trails as well as the Seawall picnic area. The main drawback of this campground is the lack of bathrooms, there is also almost no cell service in the area until you get to Southwest Harbor.

Get camping that is on the quiet side of the island. Great for families. Would be nice if they had showers, even if they cost to use.

The site was relatively level and very spacious. Good access to bathrooms which were very clean. Dump station was convenient as was potable water. It was wonderful having the free bus service around the park.

Bathroom was in decent condition. Could hear the sounds of the ocean at night. Definitely a fun place!

The Seawall campground is quiet and beautiful. There are a lot of mosquitoes. The bathrooms were usually clean, however they do not have soap or towels/hand drier. The sites were not level but there is enough room between sites. There is no campground staff at night in case of an emergency, and no cellular service. There are no ranger programs like in the past. It was fun to visit the ocean near the campground every day.

Very clean campground, helpful staff.

Campsites are nice and secluded, it felt very private. Markings of where you could set your tent were very clear, rangers were very polite and gave all necessary information clearly and concisely. Fairly short walk to the sea wall. Facilities were clean, overall, a fantastic place to camp in Acadia if you prefer a quieter, more private camp site.

Seawall was a perfect campground for my partner and I. We really enjoyed our time in Acadia. Notably, most of the big hikes are on the other side of the park including Ocean Path, Jordan Pond and Cadillac Mountain. We still visited all of them and had a great time!

Overall, the campground was quiet and the Ranger that checked us in was very kind and informative. I cant stress enough how important the national parks and their staff are to me.

Quiet, well-maintained.

Check in was easy. Finding my spot was simple. Roads are clean and easy to navigate. Site was pretty level and spacious. I had a spigot on site. No electricity and a dump site was relatively close and easy to navigate. The island explorer comes right to the campground to allow easy transportation around.
@PaulR7699704 · Camped on Jun 22, 2025 at Campsite #A4
Site A4 was very nice. Close to the restrooms and very nice fireplace. If you have a small camper it is a little tight to back into but doable. If you are relying on solar to keep power, make sure to move back far endough to catch the afternoon sun.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
