Clean, well maintained RV campsite with clean bathroom nearby. Campfires are three-sided with a rudimentary grate top not ideal for cooking, so bring a grill or have a stove top in your camper. The nearby beaches at low tide were fun with the kids and we got some great pictures at the Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse on the rocks. Two bars with Verizon.

Ive camped at many national parks, and unfortunately, Seawall has been one of the worst experiences so far. The bathroom closest to our site was closed, and the ones that were open were poorly maintained. There was no paper towel or hand soap available. It felt neglected and unprepared for visitors, which was surprising and disappointing given Acadias popularity. I hope the park addresses these issues for future campers.

At the far edge of the national park, this campground offers a respite from the crowds and access to some stunning seascapes.

I wish we had been more prepared for the mosquitoes. The location was great for camping and staying put and the vibe was respectable and quiet- but is not the best home base for doing tourist stuff. It was ~30 mins drive through the island to get to most locations. The campsite bathrooms etc were very clean and accommodating but I wish I wouldve researched ahead of time that the only showers were paid (with quarters!) at a store up the road.

It was really nice that the campground was walking distance to the beach. We really enjoyed being able to watch the deer and explore the coast.

Level site close to bathroom nice fire pit options better than expected cell service.

Nice level site big area. 2 sites combined in one with options for the fire pit

Camped for 3 nights at Seawall. Very quiet campground and lots of deer sightings. The ocean is a short walk away. Make sure you grab firewood locally as they do not sell at the campground, and they do not have showers on site, the showers are a short drive from the campground.

Beautiful site and perfect weather! I've been visiting Acadia National Park for over 50 years. It never gets old!

Nice campground! Quiet, not too buggy in May/June. Clean bathrooms.

Beautiful Campsite, spot for a car and a tent, includes a picnic table and a place for a fire/grilling. Enjoyed our time there very much!

Seawall campground was beatiful and extremely clean. Campsites are more secluded by trees and terrain than in the other Acadia national park campgrounds. Sunset drive up Cadillac Mountain (requires a reservation) was phenomenal.

Easily accessible but phone service was non-existent

Couldn't have been better. Nice clean site, friendly ranger, and clean bathrooms. We'll be returning to this quieter side of the park!

It was really nice. It was good to be on the west side of island, a little separated from the insane business of the east side and the loop road. The campsite was pretty quiet until the weekend, and is a pleasant 10ish? minute walk down to the beach.
@LeslieD8467471 · Camped on Oct 6, 2024 at Campsite #A15
Quiet and peaceful, with good sized sites, far enough away from everything to not be extraordinarily busy, but close enough to everything to see what you want.

This campground is beautiful. You can hear the ocean waves as you fall asleep. The campground is nestled in the woods near the ocean. While not directly located on the rocky shoreline, it is just a short walk or drive to the shore. The sites are walk-in, so pack light or use some wheels to get your stuff in and out. The walk to and from your vehicle is not long: probably about a city block or less. The drive to the main portion of Acadia is indeed 20+ minutes and more with traffic. But, it's gorgeous and worth it.

Seawall Campground was wonderful. We really appreciated the transportation system in Acadia.
@MichaelM541440 · Camped on Oct 2, 2024 at Campsite #C37
We're traveling full-time in the first couple years of retirement and I would say our time at Acadia ranks as the best time we've spent anywhere. We took the mail boat out of N.E. Harbor to the Cranberry Islands, saw the sun come up on Cadillac Mtn. and hiked much.

During the week, the campground was very peaceful. The bathrooms are very clean and well maintained. On the weekend, because the sites are so closely packed (D loop), it became very crowded and loud, with some groups up partying past midnight. There are no showers. Theres a private camp store a short drive with pay showers. However the showers were only open 3-6:30pm. Overall, we would go back - during the week.

Very lovely campground. My site was spacious and clean. I loved the way the bathrooms ( flush toilets!) are centrally located. The staff out front were helpful.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
