Friendly staff and clean bathrooms. Just hand sanitizer, no hand soap. Rocky, but fine with a sleeping pad or air mattress. Verizon cell service was VERY poor, but it seemed like T-Mobile was working somewhat okay.Chilly being right by the water! (Early October stay)

Seawall is a great campground in ANP. Blackwoods is nice as well but if you are looking for a quieter less crowed place to camp, Seawall is perfect.

Nice campground, although no showers are available. The staff was very helpful.

Very nice, well-spaced campsites. There was water available as well as very clean bathroom facilities. Not sure why so many sites were closed? We will be back!

Seawall used to be the 'overflow" from Blackwoods during the height of the camping season in Acadia but it's become an equal to Blackwoods anymore. This is demonstrated by how difficult it is to get reservations even in to mid-Fall. We love it and have made it our exclusive destination in September when we go. The grounds are immaculate, the environment is just beautiful and with the ocean in the background, sleeping there is just a wonderful experience. We've also discovered an excellent place for a quick breakfast in Southwest Harbor where a mission offers coffee and fresh-made popovers every morning for donations. Go to : http://www.commongoodsoupkitchen.org/ You'll be glad you did! Next year we will probably give Schoodic Point a shot as we did tour that facility and marked out the campsites we'd like to try. Overall, however, Acadia is a true gift to the East Coast and should be experienced by every camper at least once in their lives.

We really enjoyed the tent sites because they were not too close together and were close enough to the ocean beach to walk there. Thank you for making this available to the public. Because of you (and other state and national parks) you don't have to be a millionaire to enjoy our nation's natural beauty.
