Avoid site 042 B as its on a slope and had so much trouble sleeping switching all directions. I see other sites in uneven surface and dusty like ourd. Other than that no comment.

Wawona Campground was my favorite! This trip stayed at Hodgdonand all 3 Pines Campground. Ranger was super friendly and knowledgeable. Site was awesome on the river! Cant beat waking up to a water view! Very peaceful. Level site. Plenty of room for 23 Class C RV + bike rack. Table, fire ring and bear box in appropriate spots. Trees for shade and hammocks. Floated on our tubes right in front of the site. It was fabulous! Bathrooms and water spigot nearby. Dump station and potable water was 2 miles outside the campground. Would have loved to have been able to fill my tank with potable water at the campground. Dump station was spacious, clean and included in the nightly rate.

I chose Wawona Campground located inside the park because of access to drinking water and flush toilets, store/gift shop. I came via Hwy 41. Its near Glacier Point for a great view of Half Dome. Trails abound including to the wilderness. Leave early and drive to El Capitan and other attractions.

The campground was nice and directly at the lake. Beautiful

The site was so beautiful. Very tranquil and quiet. One group that camped next to us was very respectful and I could see that they would put their food and other products in the bear locker. The other group on our opposing side however was super loud and obnoxious and did not respect the 10 pm quiet rule. Keep that in mind. Wawona had a near by gift shop which was really nice. We visited Mariposa Grove which was near Wawona and is a relatively easy hike. You just need to take a shuttle bus to there and back, but it is free. We mainly hung out in Yosemite Valley. Did the Vernal Falls Trail, rented bikes and biked all the way to Mirror Lake which we didn't know is seasonal but the bike ride there was still so beautiful we didn't really care. One thing to keep in mind is that Wawona is probably the farthest location out of all the campsites. Most of the campsites (from what I know) are located in the main valley which is an hour away from Wawona. So take into account the commute from Wawona to whatever fun activities you want to do in the main valley. Overall, a great experience. When I camp at Yosemite again, I will definitely book a site a Wawona.

Great campground! We were coming from SF and got in pretty late, so it was nice to make the scenic drive through the park the following morning. This campground is huge, and the nearby river is a great plus. Will be returning!

Such a beautiful campsite right along the river. The whole campground was absolutely stunning

Great spot! I loved jumping in the river in the morning and evenings to cool off and rinse off - no showers at the campsite. Quick little drive (~40 minutes) to Yosemite Valley or Glacier Point. Multiple water spouts, bathrooms and dumpsters positioned around the camp for convenience. Peaceful and quiet mornings and evenings. Stayed mid-July

One of our favorite campgrounds. Usually not so crowded.

I liked Wawona campground but it was so far away from the main sites. Wawona was clean and the trash was easy to find. Noise level was great especially since the campsites are so close together. I was in C88 which was great because i felt like I had extra room Compared to other campsites.

Camping at Wawona campground was such a beautiful experience. I love that there is a river near by that you can easily walk to and can get in for a swim. Everyone was very nice and considerate of others. I really like how all the campgrounds have a picnic table and fire place. I also love that we are free to turn on the fire pit whenever we want to. I cant wait to come back again!

Not a big fan of this location. The whole campsite is sloped: area where you setup the tent and the bench. The only flat area is the top of the bear box and you have to be pretty tall to cook on top of it.

Site 37 was beautiful. On the river and reasonably private for Yosemite. Loop B seemed quiet compared to the other loops.

Site 67 is spacious, however, there are no trees at this site. It's nice to be near the river, and the surrounding areas were clean.

Would definitely camp here again!

Had a great time camping here. Wawona is located really close to the Mariposa Grove and isn't too far from Glacier Point. We also explored the town and the little library which was a fun stop. The hike to Chihualna Falls is strenuous, but you don't need to hike the whole thing to get great views of the waterfalls. You can access them right from the beginning of the trail if you want. Overall, a great experience. You still have river access (bring inner tubes) from this campground and the drive to Yosemite Valley isn't bad either.

Campsite 93 was great. Fairly flat for a large tent. Not super close to the next campsite and quick access to two restrooms that were well kept.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
