The bathroom near site 49 is astoundingly loud. We were woken up all night long every night by the sound of the water being turned on. Whenever anyone used the sink in the womens restroom it sounded like a car crash. Otherwise, was a clean bathroom.

Lovely experience. Bathrooms were clean, general store was well stocked and the community and hiking was superb. I hope everyone gets to experience this magical spot

Only 35 mins from valley, close to store, gas station, and river. Would come and camp again. Bathrooms clean.

Site 28 A loop wawona is on the hill side so there is some unfortunate slope. Not a huge problem because theres 2 flat areas in the campground to pitch your tent. The bathrooms were clean. Theres quite a bit of wood around the campsite if you happen to bring a hatchet you can cut some up. If you check in after hours just sign your name on the clipboard and the ranger will be by in the morning to fully check you in. April is super cold so double up on sleeping bags but other than that it was great.

First camping trip, this was a great campsite. Tons of room, spaced out from other sites, bathroom close by without being a nuisance at all since its down the hill. Couldnt ask for more. Images look super rocky on this site specifically but not an issue at all. Will be back for sure.

Staff was awesome, the campground, its beautiful, right on the Merced. Np partyers, no non-sense, in the middle of YNP. Even have River Otters toaming the area.

Great place! I really liked that it was available as First Come First Served, while we were there. I wish there would be some places available FCFS year round, not everyone is able to plan get aways months in advance.

Nice location unfortunately close camping and everyone having campfires in such close proximity causes us to stay indoors to avoid the smoke. Health Such camps with large fire pits some left unattended still smoking limits the enjoyment.

Excellent campground. I booked a group site and was very happy with the experience. The bathroom was cleaned. The ranger was very helpful and friendly. I would stay here again.

We had a very upsetting experience during our stay. At approximately 7:30am, a park ranger banged loudly on our van and announced Police, which was extremely alarming. We were startled awake and I was genuinely frightened. When I asked if I could get dressed before exiting, the ranger was impatient and accusatory. We had paid for our campsite, but the ticket was not visible because the clip on the post was broken. Rather than calmly verifying the situation first, we were immediately treated as if we had intentionally not paid.We understand rangers have a job to do, but professionalism and basic courtesy go a long way. A more respectful approach would have made this situation very different.

The volunteers were especially helpful, as was the ranger. We stayed in Loop A for 4 nights. Such a beautiful time of year with the fall colors. The camp was clean and roght along the river.

Clean well kept park with easy access to view Sequoia National Park. The only down side is almost all sites are very un-level both directions making it extremely hard to level a RV. Using are largest leveling blocks we were still 1.5 inches off level side to side.

Loved the campground and the campsite, but do not leave your coolers out for any reason if youre not on the campsite. They are not kidding, no warning given. They will confiscate your coolers WITH our drinks and give you a $205 ticket, THEN get your cooler back. Understand its for our safety but wouldve appreciated a warning since not all of us are experienced campers. Its alright learning as I go, love campsite otherwise.

Excellent campground. We were in 44B, which is a very nice camping spot up away from the road and in a quiet area of the B loop. Wawona as a whole was a great experience, significantly quieter and less busy than the valley campgrounds. The volunteers and ranger were incredibly kind and helpful, with excellent hiking recommendations. The nearby Pine Tree Market is remarkably well stocked with anything you could need.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.
