Great campsite! We were right by the River which was a lovely sound to fall asleep to. Its about a 50 minute drive to Yosemite valley which wasnt a problem for my group. We enjoyed being in an area that wasnt as heavily populated. The bathrooms were one of the more well maintained campsite bathrooms that Ive seen. There was running water and soap.

Overall great experience. Only negative was the bathroom. Not great! Beyond that, it was wonderful. We hope to go back soon. Good job by park staff.

Tricky to find at flat spot at 47, all slightly sloping, but it's a gorgeous location right next to the stream. Nearest toilet had no lights, but a longer gets you to a great block with lights.

Nice campground overall: setting is beautiful, the nearby stream sounds made for a relaxing night's sleep. campsites were well-spaced & fellow campers were quiet & orderly. I felt fortunate to be able to get a campsite in a national park on fairly short notice. The Living History Center nearby made for an interesting activity. There was also a nearby store that I did not visit, but that could have been convenient. My campsite had a table, fire grate and bear-proof storage.Negatives: it was a long walk to the restroom from my campsite. I had a walk-in site about 60' downhill from my car, but I knew that going in. However, the path left a lot to be desired, as I had to wind around rocks & bushes, and the first step down from the parking area was borderline dangerous. As I was required to store my food in the bear-proof box and that was situated down by the campsite, that meant ferrying my entire cooler & all food supplies down from my car & back up again in the morning, which was a minor pain.Firewood sales would have been nice. I opted to go without a campfire, but some of my neighbors were actively scrounging dead/fallen wood quite a ways from their sites. It struck me odd that this was even permitted in a national park, but the rules said it was allowed.Overall, a nice experience, just be prepared for a little inconvenience if you take some particular walk-in sites.

We stayed at 47c site and it was a perfect spot. River is full and beautiful now, the site is spacious and just nice. I would definitely come back there.

Amazing camp ground. The rangers are a little crazy and hand out warnings like candy but they are just doing their jobs. Would highly recommend this campground.
