Avoid site 042 B as its on a slope and had so much trouble sleeping switching all directions. I see other sites in uneven surface and dusty like ourd. Other than that no comment.

Not a big fan of this location. The whole campsite is sloped: area where you setup the tent and the bench. The only flat area is the top of the bear box and you have to be pretty tall to cook on top of it.

So the particular site we had was not conducive to camping... the entire site is on a significant decline... much more than a standard 3-5 percent, felt more like a 15%...usually a camp site has at last a little flat area, while much of the rest can be hilled...if this was leveled a little in a couple of spots it would be just fine

Site 42. Most of the campsite is on a slope.avoid it if you can. The main issue we had were obnoxious campers in our loop screaming around the campground late at night and trespassing onto our site. My problem is that there isnt a camp host to report these incidents to when they are happening late at night. We did complain the following morning to the ranger at the campground entrance. He said there was only one law enforcement patrol car that night from Wawona to the Valley. With the revenue this park generates, they should have patrols stationed at every campground day and night in case issues or emergencies arise. Suddenly we dont feel safe camping at National Parks because of this. They should learn from CA State Parks. They at least have a host in every campground and are able to call law enforcement when needed.

Our campsite was on a hill and only one small flat area for a tent that barely fit, I recommend trying to find one along the water. A very different National Park experience, quiet hours not enforced well at all. It wasn't constant chaos but it happened at the wrong time, otherwise nice experience. We were getting up at 4am to get to the trailheads or Valley by sunrise to start our day and enjoy the park'. Amazing experiences at the park away from all the crowds and noise, but the campground needs some attention again with re-engineering some campsites to be more accommodating and keep noisy disrespectful people out. A good lesson to not choose the one close to the entrance. I hate to leave a review like this, but it needs to be said.
