A very clean, quiet and neat campground with a large enough campsite.

We were just there for one night. The campground was clean and well stocked.

My family had an excellent time here! We brought our 2 year old and there were a lot of other families. Having the river nearby was great for a quick dip. Having the bathrooms there were really helpful too. It was a 30-min drive into the valley. We will definitely come back!

Beautiful camp but roads are very narrow and hard to avoid collision with other rvs.

Yosemite Valley very close to the campground (40ish min), Wawona with its store, gas station, restaurant 5 min away is extremely convenient! We love to stay here

There were many empty campsites, even though the web site showed no available sites.

This campground has just a few trees here and there so depending on your campsite you may not have shade or just a little. There were a lot of fires around the campground in the park so super pity to drive across miles and miles of burned picture.

It is always a great opportunity to be able to camp or stay in the national park that you are visiting. The campgrounds did have running water in the restrooms, but I wish they had showering facilities for those of us that are camping. The only downside was that the campground is very open and right next to the busy road going in and out at the park. Because the campground is so open you almost feel like youre camping with a dozen other people, and all of their noise. Most people have trailers which cuts down on the noise. It is definitely not as crowded as the valley area. I would probably camp here again or choose one of the campgrounds in the higher elevations away from the valley.

The campsite was pretty large but most of it had a slight incline so one of our tents had to be set up where it was a little lopsided for sleeping. The bathroom was close by (no way to dry hands, but there was soap), but the spigot near the bathroom wasn't functional. Really spacious bear locker at the campsite and we were far enough away from the trash cans to feel safe, but close enough that it wasn't too far out of our way. Rangers at the station we're also super nice and informative at check-in.

Some of the spots have zero shade and only one tree (so you cant hang a hammock). I would recommend at least bringing a pop up to put over the bear box and provide some shade. A lot of our fruit and things spoiled quickly and ice was always melting in the cooler despite getting new ice every day.Other than that, it is a pretty nice campground. Good for river relaxing, kids taking bike loops. Do the swinging bridge hike from the Pioneer Village/Forest road area.
