Highland Ridge Campground, WI - Latest Reviews, Photos & Campground Map
Highland Ridge Campground in Pierce County is located 45 min east of Woodbury, MN with an elevation of 1,115 feet. There are a total of 50 campsites including 1 tent-only site. The campground is normally open from mid April to mid November. 49 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 20 and 118 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 46 sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $20.00 to $240.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, swimming, flush toilets. Activities include fishing, horseback riding, hiking trails, floating sports.
Currently group booking for the Group Loop (Sites 28-38) and the Equestrian Group Loop (Sites 39E - 48E) is open for the 2026 recreation season. On April 1st, 2026, campsites not booked as a group will be open to individual reservations. Please contact the Park Office at (715) 778-5562 ext. 0 with any questions.

The park ranger is amazing. He shared some excellent information about the trails and the need to close the trails for the winter for work on the trails. Thank you so much for all of your hard work.I am sorry that you have to deal with inconsiderate people in your work! Great spot for a fall camping trip. Beautiful scenery. Lots of hiking and biking trails within an hour. Campground is well cared for including the leaves being blown of the campsite prior to arrival. One of my favorite trips.

We Highly recommend campng here , the campground is so pretty and facilities are very clean and nice. a few sites are on a slope, just a heads up., and some of the sites are on the smaller side, and the measurements on the website seemed to be inaccurate. The campground hosts are so helpful and nice, and the Rangers are very polite and kind. Both patrol the campground often, which we appreciated. We can't wait to make reservations for next camping season.

Beautiful little COE. No water views, but so relaxing and well taken care of. Great Camp Hosts, rangers! The Rangers had a program on Saturday that was fun and educational. We loved our stay so much we extended another day.

This is a nice, quiet campground. Densely treed. The restroom and showers are well-maintained. The campground hosts were very friendly and pleasant to be around. There are several hiking trails that are nice if you dont mind dancing around the horse biscuits.

Had a great time. The kids loved the beach the GEO Caches. I appreciate how the rangers keep up on the GEOs. Great spot.

I have one suggestion.I have arthritis in my hands and it is hard to get the toilet paper off the roll and if its hard for me I can only guess how hard it would be for someone else.

The site and facilities were very clean. The shower was strong and plenty of hot water. It was a beautiful site. I stayed at site #25. It was very private and quiet. Great for decompressing and enjoying the trees. I highly recommend this campground.

Beautiful location and peaceful - one suggestion - please mark restroom locations on campground maps as in choosing a spot online I would chose to be near them
