We Highly recommend campng here , the campground is so pretty and facilities are very clean and nice. a few sites are on a slope, just a heads up., and some of the sites are on the smaller side, and the measurements on the website seemed to be inaccurate. The campground hosts are so helpful and nice, and the Rangers are very polite and kind. Both patrol the campground often, which we appreciated. We can't wait to make reservations for next camping season.

Wonderful smaller campground. Sites are mostly level and plenty of space between sites to allow for privacy.

Highland Ridge is camping like the old days. Sites are all separated from each other by trees and they feel secluded and out in the woods. Nice facilities that are well maintained and cared for. The site hosts are charming and helpful. The Rangers are proud of their site and are advocates for the greater Corp of Engineers sites. What a great stay!

Loved the campground and being amongst all the trees! Very friendly and inviting. Very peaceful place! Clean facilities and hot showers! It does get a little messy when it rains with the dirt mix they use on the sites.

We love highland ridge campground. Beautiful setting secluded large sites. Only downside... No running water at the dump station. No way to clean up a spill. Or rinse your sewer hose.

Nice campsite but dated. Most sites I saw we would have had a tough time with our 34' trailer getting it level. Trails were nice but overlooks were very grown up and I wish there was quicker access to the the creek rather than a horse trail. Even though this review sounds super negative, the park was nice, rangers? were friendly, and facilities clean. Get a wheelbarrow of wood for $20 on NN rather than the bucket for $10 right outside camp

Very HEAVILY wooded area. When you drive in it is like driving into a tunnel! Beautiful camping place. Excellent tent camping as well as RV camping. There is also a GREAT area for horse camping. The hiking trails are awesome as well. Bathrooms are up to date and clean. Power at the RV sites is excellent. Cell reception is OK depending on your location in the park.

We loved this campground. We visited in late fall and it was beautiful. We walked all the paths we could find and really enjoyed the comfortable experience. Do your research on the site you are booking...some would be difficult to camp in!
