North Bend Park Campground in Mecklenburg County is located 1 hr 8 min north of Wake Forest, NC with an elevation of 342 feet. There are a total of 234 campsites including 15 tent-only sites. The campground is open all year. 218 sites can accommodate RVs between 10 and 80 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 131 sites have electric and water hookups. Fees range from $24.00 to $125.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, playground, boat ramp, swimming, amphitheater, flush toilets. Activities include biking, boating, fishing, hiking trails, floating sports.

Love the lake views from many sites. The prep table was a nice touch. Bathroom in C loop are the newest. People adhered to quiet hours in September. Storms tend to pop up around the lake in summer so make sure you tie down your tents.

First time here and we definitely will be coming back! Sites had plenty of space, bathrooms/shower were clean. Very relaxing and peaceful!

Exceptionally professional volunteers make this a terrific camping destination. Contract cleaning crew are among the best. It is always a pleasant experience visiting North Bend Park!

It's a very nice campground with staff that is nice and not bothersome. The sure are a good size and spaced apart well but privacy between the sites is non existent. The lake is very clean as were the bathrooms. There are a few negatives, as tent campers we were a little disappointed that the entire, large pad was entirely covered in stones. Also disappointing that you have to go off the campground to get wood and ice. It's not a far drive but would be more convenient if it was in site. All things considered, we'll go back again.

You can't go wrong with this campground. 194 was a great site, although 193 had a better view of the lake. We were there on our way to Myrtle Beach so a one night stay. Intend to go back this fall to site 193 or 194 if available or another site near the water.Site was a short walk to the lake/beach area which was clean and pristine. The site was also elevated which is good in case of rainwater since it will drain quickly.Didn't really check the T-Mobile service. Wish they would have more campgrounds near us in New York. Nothing really in the northeast.

We had a wonderful week at North Bend loop C! Beautiful Views, Time on the Water, Relaxing. We didn't feel the need to leave the campground as everything we needed was there.

The lake is beautiful the park rangers are awesome. The bathrooms are clean and private. I love everything about this park! The beaches are clean.
