Very pretty campground. Clean site, clean bathrooms, room for a boat, and a swimming beach. I was lucky enough to snag a lake view site for one time during my trip back home. I hope to come back next year

this is a well laid out campground with each site being sufficiently large to not be on top of each other. It is exceptionally well maintained. The staff is very helpful and the process of scheduling a site is very well thought out and easy to use. There was some issues with the reception centers computers and their connection to the internet which needs to be updated. They did the very best they could given the problems with the system.

No rangers were on duty 7-17 and whoever was on site 131 and tried to take over the entire point started name calling and screaming. No support

We love coming back to North Bend and our favorite campsites number! Its clean, fully equipped, and best of allsleeping under the stars doesnt cost much. The kids are having the time of their lives, and so are we!

This is a repeat campground for us and we have enjoyed our time there. Water access here is excellent from sitting along the shore to swimming options to boat and kayak options. Sights for campers range from short to extra long and are arranged haphazardly to accommodate the shoreline. Word of advice, if you have a large rig and tow vehicle some sights have the timbers along the sides placed awkwardly to make backing into the sites challenging.

The park is beautiful and well taken care of! We enjoyed our stay at site 222 and had the best view! Our kids loved the lake! We will definitely come back!!

Easy and friendly check-in. The campsite was shaded and very spacious (D211). It was a short walk to the bathhouse and beach. The bathhouse, however, would have benefited from additional cleaning, and it was more like a sauna due to the hot weather. The lake was amazing, and we paddleboarded and had a great time. We will come back.

We stayed at area A and it was really good. Easy access to lake for swimming and for just peace. We also went to check out other areas such as B and C and those were kind of crowded and people had playing their music very loud.

The park itself is beautiful. However, the maintenance of bathrooms is poor and quiet laws are not enforced. Youll be wading through trash in the toilets while hoping it flushes and laying in your tent till 2am listening to other peoples choices of music and obnoxious partying. Not to mention, the quiet hours end rather early so not only will you suffer falling asleep with blasting music from all sides, they will resume it again at 6am to ensure your sunrise is ruined also. I have been to this park twice already, the beaches and water are wonderful but the human experience has been poor each time. I have not had such unpleasant camping experience at other parks, and I frequently camp trough the VA, WV, MD, TN, & DE.

Easy access to swimming beaches. Clean bathrooms. Good campsites. All you need for a relaxing and off grid get away.

The best water view site imo but it comes with its challenges... The weather. Storms come up and winds get strong quickly. Canopies can easily be damaged or blown away.Did I mention the view and the breeze...

We loved North Bend Park! It was beautiful! The camp sites are well situated so you dont notice your neighbors much. Very woodsy. They even have a nice beach to swim in. Very clear water. The shower facilities were very nice as well.

Great campground! My family enjoys camping here because the lake is so convenient for swimming and kayaking. With that being said, motorized vessels need to respect the NO WAKE zones. The jet skis especially were running full force too close to shore! The sites are clean and the fire ring is nice for cooking and roasting marshmallows. The only problem I had on the last trip was the noise from a group of campers not respecting the quiet hours. The park ranger came by during the day because it was obvious that there were too many people occupying the campsites. However, the partying continued until 1:30 a.m. I feel there should be more park rangers available enforcing the rules. I plan to return; however, please keep North Bend Campground a wonderful place to camp by ENFORCING the rules!

Beautiful Campgrounds, but they dont do much for cutting away dead trees, and almost every campsite has trees that could fall and damage RVs, Campers, and vehicles. Ive seen someones RV get branches through the roof multiple times. The campsites on the Carolina side and Econeeche cut their trees down to keep campsites clear of possible damage. Also, Kimball point cuts down their old trees and gives the fire wood away to campers for campfires. All the workers and park rangers are awesome and very helpful if you need something.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
