We have been staying at North Bend for several years. While we used to travel and stay at many State Parks, for the last few years we just go to North Bend. Nothing else compares to the beauty and accommodations offered here. The Rangers and campground volunteers are all just great and welcoming. The campsites are nicely laid out and have good space between sites.

Lake opportunities are abundant. This is a popular location for boating, fishing and there are numerous swim beaches. There are towns fairly close by. South Hill has major stores for shopping and a variety of restaurants. Clarksville has basic stores and a wonderful small town feel to it.

We always have a great camping experience at North Bend. We are greeted with friendly folks at the check in station and see the Rangers frequently as they make their rounds. The restrooms are very nice and cleaned at least daily. Love the bike paths and a very nice "disk golf" course.
