Great campground! We really enjoyed our time here at the lake. Only quibble is not having firewood on site to purchase.

We use to love Rudds Creek. This trip however, there was a tree down at the waters edge blocking about 95 Percent of the shoreline. We were told that it would be left and that no one would be taking it out or cutting up. This caused us to not really be able to fish as there were campers on both side that were using their area. This ruined our trip and we even left a day early because of the mess. I do not think we will be back there next year.

Always love our time at Rudds. Was a little disappointed that both picnic table were in our spot to back into on our double site. Being in our 70s now it was tough to get them moved so we could back in. An awful lot of cigarette butts to pickup also. Hope our next trip starts off a little easier and site is a little cleaner.

This was my first camping experience at this location. Overall, I had an absolute fantastic time. Very peaceful very quiet. I also like that between sites there is natural foliage so youre not feeling that fellow campers are too close for comfort. The one suggestion that I have is, please put a bug zapper in the restrooms. People leave the light on all night long and there will literally be millions of gnats and that was the worst part. I plan to come back in the future definitely going to bring my kayak. So if youre looking for relaxation, this is the place to be.

Had a great time even though it rained so much during our 2 week stay. Clean campground and bath houses. Very friendly and helpful camp hosts. Only thing needing work on is to make the 2 dump stations for outgoing guests. The lines were long and 1 dump station not accessible for leaving guests. Traffic needs to SLOW down.

Quiet and pretty private, with lots of walking areas. Shower houses with locked doors on each shower. Enjoyed a great evening of music by a local group in the camp amphitheater. Trash receptacles a long distance from campsites. Definitely recommend this campground.

We always enjoy Rudds Creek Campgrounds. I will say that some of the campsites are challenging when it comes to getting a site that suits people with disabilities. It would be nice if some of the landscaping Timbers were moved a little bit and anything with steps need hand rails NO MATTER HOW MANY STEPS. Looking forward to July.

The camping sites are not as long as stated in reservation app. We were looking forward to camping and the first night we had to switch sites due to size and being not level. The first wake up morning after fishing most of the day. The water in the campground was off due to broken pipe. There was no water in the campground to shower. Only one bath house was open and only had cold water to shower. It was supposed to be fixed the next day but one of the rangers said most likely. We left around 6pm.

First, Marlene is absolutely wonderful! The local band was much appreciated and entertaining with great music entwined with comedy! Biking the grounds was good, facilities clean. We will be back in October

Wonderful COE Campground right near the quaint walkable towns of Clarksville and Boydstown, VA Coffee shops, Cafes antiquing, and restaurants, pizza, grocery stores. A Paradise for boaters and fishermen. Clean hot showers and large well maintained wooded gravel campsites. The hosts were friendly and quick to check people in and out and discuss the area and sites to see.

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
