We had a great stay at Rudds Creek. From the smooth and friendly check-in to the well maintained site , we enjoyed our stay. The facilities had plenty of hot water and were clean. The electric and water at the site were in good working order. Very quiet at night.

Rudds Creek Campground is a great place to camp. This was our third year in a row taking our grandkids here for a camping trip. The staff is great. The only issue I ever have is people that bring dogs and let them bark. It only takes one barking dog nearby to ruin the trip.

Great location. Need to get old carpets off the shore line, maybe have a clean-up event, offer camping vouchers to people who clean up shorelines near camp sites?

The check-in process is very smooth. No long wait. The staff is very friendly. The camping sites are well laid out. The only complaint I have is that there's always some inconsiderate camper that brings a dog and won't keep it quiet. If you can't discipline or train your dog not to bark don't bring it. Luckily it wasn't real close to our site, but was still annoying.

This is a great campground. Sites are not jammed together as they are in private campgrounds. If you or the kids love to fish many of the sites on the lakefront. Our two grandkids caught four nice channel catfish. Great experience for them to eat the fish they provided. It's worth the ride to go see the back side of Kerr Dam. The day we were there they were catching lots of stripers, up to about 24". The best fishing is when they are generation power. You need a surf rod to reach the best water. There is a walkway you can fish from.
