Rocky Point Campground in Bowie County is located just 18 min southwest of Texarkana, TX with an elevation of 291 feet. There are a total of 125 campsites. The campground is open all year. 124 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 40 and 98 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 124 sites have electric and water hookups. 1 site has electric hookups. Fees range from $24.00 to $28.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, playground, boat ramp, swimming, amphitheater, flush toilets. Activities include fishing, hiking trails.

Love camping at rocky point. Always clean. Nice helpful people at gate. Wish there was more sewer hook up spots. More trails you can ride on with regular bikes, , way to many big roots. Everything else great

It is a beautiful park very well maintained. Our site was perfect. Loved seeing all the beautiful wildlife. We will recommend it to our friends.

We loved Rocky point. The campsite we stayed at was close enough to the water and the playground for the kids . It was clean and just beautiful! Cant wait for our next trip.

Bathhouse near our spot was not maintained very well. Was not cleaned daily, or should be cleaned daily.

B28,level close to play ground for kids. Blind side back in was a little tight. It seems like the caous in DC is giving excuses for lesser services. It would be nice if guests could at least leave the site as good or better than they found it. Trash in the fire pit is just uncalled for. This seems to be a very popular CG. You'd think the regular visitors would take better care.

We love this camp! We are here several times a year. Large enough to ride our bikes. Lots of sites with shade. Usually quiet. Most recently we stayed in B23. Lots of deer. Always good here EXCEPT there is a recurring issue with tall grass. This has been an issue in the past throughout the year. I get that now its very late in the summer but its still hot and snakes can still be an issue. PLEASE MOW regularly!! We have 2 small dogs to walk and would appreciate it so much! I cant comment on bath houses but my husband has never complained except that theyre very hot in the summer. Other than that, no complaints.

Camp host Steven was exceptional! Very friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed. The beauty of this place can't be overstated, even in a thunderstorm it's gorgeous.The trees and roads are tight navigation, helps to have experienced spotters, other campers assisted is getting our 42 footer through them and safely staged. Read the website carefully when reserving. Make sure your spot has all that you need before booking. Modifying your reservation is simple tho if you need to change dates or even your camp site.

The wildlife was amazing. Deer EVERYWHERE. How ever was NOT a fan of the womans bathroom. The light would NOT stay on. It would go off unless you were in a specific stall where the sensor could see you. Otherwise it was a great trip!!!!

Rocky Point is our new favorite park! We really liked how pretty and clean the park and lake are. The camp sites are spread out more than a lot of other parks we've been to. The site we stayed at was level. We had full phone service with T-Mobile. Enjoyed the wildlife!

I highly recommend Rocky Point camp ground. I will say though, during this trip the grass needed to be cut in the grounds and they need to spray grass killer around the picnic tables.
