I love it there! Was watching the wildlife every night.School is getting ready to start back so no kids but 4 was around didnt bother them!Very peaceful!

My husband and I always enjoy our time here. Whenever we experience a power outage or some other situation, the camp host are on it immediately. They are always friendly and helpful.

We were unaware with electrical problem with 50 amp service plug in box. This caused us to keep losing power, We replaced two batteries new batteries needlessly. This did not solve the problem. We struggled with this problem from Saturday until Tuesday. At that time we took the RV into Shady Pines for them to check out the problem. The service department there checked out the RV. They identified the problem was not with our RV but with the 50 amp box at the campsite. This was an error that cost us over $400 and ruined all expectations of an enjoyable relaxing fun time at Rocky Point.

Great time, sadly the APP and Web-site indicated a full camp site with no openings, we were however 1 of 14 campers in the park all weekend. We had some friends and family that weren't able to join us because of this. Also, I have written several emails and spoken to camp hosts and ACOE rangers/officers asking that a light be placed at the play area-play ground, kids want to play and with the sunsetting so early there is still lots of play time, but it is dark there. Please consider adding safety and security lights here.

Beautiful park. Nice level FHU site. 2nd time to stay in the park. One thing to note; this park has no access to the water for bank fishing. You will need a watercraft and launch from the boat ramp. The name Rocky Point describes the shoreline accurately!

We brought 3 granddaughters and our holdest found 2 good friends right off and spent the entire week with them. We love site 16 and being close to playground. Best playground we have found in our camping experience of over 30 years.
