We booked site B5 for Christmas day since we were traveling and were not expected to arrive until around 9pm. Site B5 is a site with sewer hookup so we paid more for the site however when we got there another camper had our site. Supposed they were to have the site on the 26th not the 25th but they came in early so they took it. We talked to the gate person the next day and was told we would get a refund for the difference of a sewer site to a non sewer site since we did not get what we paid for. We are still waiting for our refund. We ended up taking another site but was not sure if we were taking someone's spot and there was no one to ask the night of the 25th. We were booked to be back on the 1st for our return home trip which was fine except the campground was pretty full and they had the bathroom locked. Most likely we will not stay there again since the host that we spoke with the next day (26) did not have a clue and also did not get our refund taken care of.

Love this park so much! The best sunsets ever and every night! The weather was perfect. We're thinking the first week in November might need to be a tradition!

B05 was an excellent spot. There is a concrete pad that made it easy to back in and level up. Full hook up, water, electric, & sewer. Close to the public bathroom, showers, and boat dock. We stayed for 9 nights. Raccoons came for a visit every night. We left some pistachios outside one night and they had a picnic. (I'm sorry but we couldn't get all the shells up out of the rocks.) Camp cat's visited also.

First visit since new concrete pad was poured. It is awesome, no problem leveling trailer now. B 05 is our favorite campsite beautiful view of lake and close to sewer.

What we loved about Rocky Point Campground: the views were breathtaking, especially from our second site, B30. There were expansive water views from two sides of the camper. The pup loved his morning and evening walks on the many wooded trails. The deer never disappointed in their morning and evening appearances. Nor did the thousands of birds on the lake.What we didnt love about Rocky Point (and the reason for 4 stars): the ticks. And the ticks.

B5 is one of the better full hook up sites at Rocky Point. Not sure why they set up full hookup sites right next to the bath houses, other than for logistics. Seems like every time we come to RP, the boat ramp is always flooded out.
