Nice campsite. Very friendly folk and helpful at checkin. Only negative but very small is the campground is a good distance from main highway.

Wonderful sites. Plan on renting all 4 sites on this little loop next year for a family camping adventure. Super nice gate attendants as well

My favorite COE campground. Well maintained, beautiful area with Lake Hartwell. Comfort station was clean and great water flow to take a shower. The only suggestion I have is to make site #11 more level. I had to raise the passenger side of the camper 4 inches with 2. 2 x 10s.

Fall is the best time of the year for camping. I wish they would keep the campground open for another month.

Campsites were clean, well spaced and oriented so you could really enjoy the lake view. Bathrooms were functional but had room for improvement in the cleanliness department.

We had a great stay at Oconee Point. Site 48 is incredible. It's 3" off level on the passenger side. Not a big deal, just plan for it. We had no ants and the CG attendants are excellent. Strong service - Verizon. One of our favorite campgrounds on Lake Hartwell.

So far the best COE that weve had. Every site is a water site. No inside sites. Clean showers. Sites are far apart. We loved it. Will always be on our list.

Oconee Point is a safe and clean campground. We stayed at spot #5, and couldn't have been happier with our stay. It was quiet, and the sunset and sunrise were so beautiful! The campground hosts were so kind. We can't wait to come back!

Clean level campsites, friendly hosts, older bath house with no shower facilities near site was a inconvenience but overall and excellent camping experience

Bathrooms need updating. Old and no soap provided which should be unacceptable

It was a great campsite the 2 sets of hosts where excellent and very friendly. Super quiet and campsite was clean. Just a heads up if you use the bathrooms be sure to take your own towel and soap as their is non in the restroom s

Its a great place to stay. Weather wasnt the best because of a hurricane going up the coast but had no control over that. Only improvement I can see is updating bath houses. Rebuild the restroom buildings into a bath house because the ones provided are so far apart. Dont like always having to drive to go to take a shower or going to the toilet.
@MelissaT892779 · Camped on Sep 26, 2025 at Campsite #25
Beautiful views. All the campsites have great views and are immaculately taken care of.
@BobW2452085 · Camped on Sep 22, 2025 at Campsite #32
Sure wish you had full hookup sites. Bath houses could be upgraded some and some air circulation in the bath houses would help

This campground has many great lake side sites. We have stayed here many times and always enjoy it. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only issue we have with it is the tree root humps in the roadway. We can't pull our waste dump tank over them without dragging which damages the tank. So we try to select a site whose path to the dump station avoids the humps, even though some of our favorites cannot.

WE had a quite restful time with beautiful weather.

Very quiet campground. Sites were clean and fairly large. Easy lake access right from our site for kayaking and swimming. Restrooms and bath house need attention! They were clean enough but need basic updates and repairs. Staff was friendly.

An amazing park of beauty peace tranquility...just lovely! We would absolutely camp here year round, sadly they're only open 4 months per year. When I asked why, I was told they don't have the money to do it. That leaves me more confused, because we do in fact camp year round and winter camps are now usually booked solid! Especially Christmas camp! There is alot of money that could be made during the other 8 months. Same for Coneross! Please Core of Engineers, rethink your business plan, we'll keep you busy and flush with income!

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
