Twin Lakes Campground in Anderson County is located 36 min northwest of Anderson, SC with an elevation of 658 feet. There are a total of 99 campsites. The campground is open all year. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 16 and 62 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring with grill. 97 sites have electric and water hookups. 2 sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $30.00 to $64.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, playground, boat ramp, swimming, restroom, ramada, flush toilets. Activities include boating, fishing, water skiing, floating sports.

I absolutely love this campground! I've been visiting on and off there for the past 30 years. It's always very quiet. Everyone is always very friendly. The Clemson Stadium is right down the road or by boat. It's a beautiful lake worth the visit. The small town of Pendleton is also right down the road. A lot of history is discovered there. Great food choices in Pendleton and Clemson.

Bathrooms were not clean, shower curtain are too small and do not cover the shower area. Host at front gate are very nice, warm and friendly.

Love the spacious sites, beautiful surroundings, park attendants and bathroom cleaning staff. The lady (Heather) who maintained the bathroom did an outstanding job. Will certainly return to enjoy this beautiful setting and wonderful park.

I have stayed here multiple times, but this was my first winter trip. There is only one loop available in winter, so each site near me was full, and the restrooms in our loop was locked. There may have been an unlocked toilet and shower available, but I couldnt find it. It would not have been walkable distance anyway. The host was not manning the check in station when I arrived or checked out so I never spoke to anyone to find out about facilities. There is not firewood or a camp store, with ice, on site. If you have an RV, this may be fine, but for those of us needing amenities, not so much. The lake is down this time of year, so the banks are mud down to the waterline.

Twin Lakes was a beautiful park with amazing water views at almost all of the sites. The weather wasnt great when I was there so I wasnt able to explore the trails. The only downside here in my opinion is that they lock the gate and theres no code to get it in. If you are out after 9:30pm, you are walking back to your campsite.

All sites are pretty much level from front to back and side to side. Only had one section open beings its the dead of winter!!!Heres the BIG plus for us winter campers, bathhouse is heated and very clean!!! Only had one bathhouse open. Only one drawback for the week was the wind off the lake. BURRRRRRRR.

We always enjoy Twin Lakes. Site 58 is nice and secluded but was a challenge for my husband to back into. There are several other sites we look forward to using.

I stayed at Twin Lakes in early December. The cold weather meant the park was only half full. It was peaceful and quiet. My site was near the point and I viewed the sunset right out my window and the sunrise was best seen a short walk down the beach. My time here was very restorative. I will be back.
