We were fortunate to get the remaining lot in the park for that week. To us it was great. It was in a cove that had a great view of the lake. It was a packed gravel level lot that our class b backed in no problem and didn't have to level. There was plenty of room between neighbors. Camp fires were allowed and the park allowed picking up limbs to burn. There was plenty of hardwood to find. The park does have buddy lots so if you want or don't want that, be selective. There were no hiking trails that we saw, so hiking was basically walking the roads which wasn't bad. Wear tennis shoes, hikers not required. As for the kids, there were plenty of playgrounds around the park for them. For fishing, our cove was void of any bottom features for fish to hide, so I didn't give it a try. The point and next cove over had plenty of trees and rocks that would have been worth the walk. The weather was windy and cold one day and nice one day so didn't want to pay for a temp license for only one day. There were plenty of OTA channels available.The one disappointment was the bathrooms didn't have soap dispensers or paper towels. They were clean and usable, but don't forget to carry soap and something to dry hands with, ugh... Showers were fine. I believe our area had the oldest unit and for winter camping, there is only one unit in the part that stays open year around. Overall, I would definitely recommend camping here and will use again.

Rented site 19 for my 37 ft Class A. Right on lake, shallow water and nice beach. Site is very shady. Site was clean and a reasonable walk to bath house. Twin Lakes is always a 5 star experience.

Site 83 was nice and large which accommodated both of our tents and two canopies. Bathroom was nice and clean as well as the public areas. Will be back soon.

(5 Stars) One of the best campgrounds we have stayed at in South Carolina. I dont think there is a bad campsite in the park. We will definitely stay here again.

It was our first time there and it was a great experience. The campground was very clean and the staff was very friendly. One thing I forgot were life jackets and they had loaners at the gate free of charge! Kayaking was awesome and the bass were biting. Saw 2 deer roaming through the campground one morning. We will be back!

We had a great boys weekend here! The campground was well maintained and the views around the lake were beautiful. The fishing pier down by the boat ramp was a nice place to throw out a line and enjoy the sunset. Dont forget to bring your hand soap to the bathhouse since they dont provide that. Overall, the place is great and definitely worth going!

Was a very good time

The campground was perfect except for the restrooms. It was quiet, well maintained, and a clean campground overall. The restrooms were not clean, ran out of TP, and did not have any hand soap or towels/dryers.

Very clean and spacious sites with great views. This is the kind of place a family could have a blast. I also love that it's close to Clemson University, and all the diversity that comes with it. I would Camp here again in a heartbeat.

We have two little kids and our whole family had a great time. Our site was right next to a playground which was perfect. The sites are spacious and shady and even though we werent right in the water we could see it and watch the sunset over the lake. We did a short waterfall hike just 25 minutes away and enjoyed the Botanic Gardens at Clemson. Some other people have commented on the bathrooms and they are run down but fine. My biggest complaint was getting firewood. They dont sell any there but have a contact for someone who delivers but it didnt work out with timing for us so we went to gas stations to get it and scoured the woods for large branches. Just a nuisance. Overall a great trip and wed love to go back.

Great place but did could not give 5 stars as the trail to the bathroom has been destroyed by fallen trees. The sites on both sides had a trail. I had to bushwhack thru the brush up the hill. Site 85. Right close by lake.

Camped in Site #6, directly on the lake in my 36ft Class A. Only booked one night. Site was clean and all utilities worked. Hosts were friendly and helpful at check-in. I love this campground, always a good experience. Wish more pull-through sites were open for camping from Nov-Mar.
@KelseyO7B51576 · Camped on Oct 3, 2025 at Campsite #13
Site 13 for the win! We had such a nice time at this campground, and our site was so private, with the tent area and picnic table down a flight of steps toward the water. The delivery firewood option was amazing and we loved hiking around the local trails with waterfalls.

Site #97 was huge! We loved the location and this loop of the campground even though we were not directly on the lake. However, after 25 years of camping we had our first of 3 altercations. 1. We had neighbors who were playing music after quiet hours but it wasnt obnoxious in volume or music choice yet someone filed a complaint on US! They had the park ranger come out to talk to us. 2. The camp host came back the next day mad about how many cars we had on our HUGE site. Our 2 daughters came for dinner and were parked on our site, on the gravel, yet when I explained this to him he still had a bad attitude towards me. Even after telling him we were camping at 3 sites all on site distance of where we were. 3. The 2nd night of our neighbors consisted of guitar playing and singing, not too loud and he was really good. As I sat out by the fire enjoying the music, the above mentioned host came zooming up on his golf cart to my site while he stared at me blinding me with his headlights. Probably got another complaint about sounds after quiet time.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
