We are familiar with ACE Campgrounds and this campground was typical of others, clean, quiet, friendly, maybe a little dated in shower house, but we only saw 1 and there were several others. Would easily return to this campground in the future. Our campsite worked well with our little camper but would have been a problem for bigger rigs. Watch the details when picking a site if you are new to this campground.

The campsite was very clean, spotless. The campground host was very cordial and informative. I would have selected a campsite closer to the comfort station that was open if I would have known all the others were closed for the winter. I suggest you make that known in the future. Beautiful park. I ll be back !

We had a beautiful camp site at the edge of the lake. The campground host were very nice and informative to our needs. A very enjoyable time. I would recommend Twin Lakes to anyone. We have not visited a bad Army Corp. campground yet. Thank you.William Belote

Quiet, peaceful campsites, some right next to the water. Bathrooms were limited to one shower, one stall, and one urinal, so you might have to wait. Verizon cell service was ok.

As with most of the ACOE campgrounds, there really aren't any bad sites at this park. Without realizing it, we had selected what I think was a 'buddy' site, but the couple at the site next to us was so nice it didn't really matter that they were so close to us. Large campground with plenty of area to walk around and get different views of the lake. Plus, we have the America the Beautiful senior pass, which means we get $16/night camping by a lake and that's just awesome!

Every time we camp at Twin Lakes we have a great time. This time was no exception. We live locally but love camping on the lake several times a year. The people are always nice and the campground is very well kept. Clemson and Anderson are close by for dining and such. Id also recommend Downtown Pendleton for several dining options as well as social spotsvery quant and welcoming. All around great place to stay any season!

Nice and quiet campground, but the shower that worked was cold and the shower head was off of the fixture in the only other available shower.

Our 1st visit after a recommendation from campers we met on the Blue Ridge Pkwy last fall. Well designed campground, clean and maintained sites, friendly and helpful employees. Beautiful lake! Yup, well be back!

Twin Lakes never disappoints. We have been going for a good many years. We usually have a bunch of family camping with us. Good place for younger children. The weather did not cooperate but we still had a fun time.

Couldn’t have asked for a prettier campsite! Guard at the gate was very accommodating, and the campground itself was awesome. Lake views exquisite and campsite size was bigger than I thought! I will be back 😃

This place is great.

Our campsite #42 was in close proximity to the neighboring campsite, in such a way that their water would spill onto our site, and if were were to sit at the provided table/fire pit, we would be within 2 or 3 feet of a tent on the other site. This site should probably only be rented in conjunction with the neighbor site, for multiple groups of campers. This was not what we were looking for in a camping situation, and felt we could not enjoy the camp to the extent that the other sites may have provided. This review is of this site in particular, not the entire camp. Walking around the camp, we have taken not of many other sites that we will rent on future trips.

Site 42 and 43 are right up against each other. They should be listed as a double site because there was zero privacy between the two. Their sleeping area was two feet away from my fire pit so We couldnt do a fire that night and that was disappointing. Other than that it was a beautiful area and the lake was gorgeous

One of the best campgrounds in SC. It appears though, people book all the best sites on weekends in advance only to cancel at the cut off date and the website is not updated quick enough for others to book
