Spacious well kept waterfront sites with access for kayaking,swimming and fishing right from your campsite.

Great place to stay! Large sites, friendly staff, and great views! Look forward to staying again! If your visiting and you are a going in the water I do recommend water shoes, can be a little mushy and muddy. Happy camping!

We enjoy Oconee Point campground. I wish the Corps of Engineers would consider leaving the campground, or at least a portion of it, open year round, much like Twin Lakes.

Oconee Point is a very good campground. However it has not been as good in recent years. For instance, site #21 is not availabe to reserve. I assumed that it was a for a "volunteer". There is always a camper on site 21. If it is for a "volunteer" what does the volunteer do? I know the volunteers used to clean the campsites after each visitor left but I have not seen evidence of this service for several seasons. The attendants at the gate were extremely friendly and helpful.
