Fall is the best time of the year for camping. I wish they would keep the campground open for another month.

Site 50 is great ,lots of shade,great view of lake ,not close to other sites. Pretty level

EVERY CAMPSITE IS ON THE WATER WITH GREAT VIEWS. SOME TURNS WERE A LITTLE TIGHT FOR A 40' MOTORHOME.

Made reservations 6 months out in order to get a site near the beach so the kids could swim. They had the beach closed for swimming. Beach was closed all week due to what they say was a risk of e-coli. Didnt make sense why because both corp of engineer campgrounds (Coneross campground and Twin Lakes campground) had their beaches open. What the heck people!!! Its the same river, same body of water.

If I say how nice and peacefull it is at Oconee Point it will make it harder to get a reservation I wish it would open in March and close in December

Site 50, a lot of rain makes for a not-so-dry site. If you back all the way into this site, you'll be too close to the fire pit that sits UNDER a pine tree. Great view and well maintained campground.
