This is a beautiful campground right on the river! Unparallel beauty and tranquility (although we were there in early October so not too many neighbors). The bathrooms had running water and there are water spickets along the campground. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this location!

A great campground anytime of the year! Spaces 1-12 are quite barren now due to the removal of some trees and underbrush.

The campground was nice with large private sites, and the bathrooms had both flush toilets and electricity. The soap ran out in the womens restroom and wasnt replaced for several days. The Rogue Gorge and Takelma Gorge were both amazing. The Upper Rogue trail is well kept and gives a lot of hiking options. The campground is only 25 miles from Crater Lake for an easy day trip.

This was a beautiful campsite along the river. I would highly suggest booking a campsite along the river if available as the rushing water definitely helped drown out any neighborly noise and was pleasant to fall asleep to. The campground is very close to Crater Lake (25mins to the west gate) where you can find a restaurant and gas. There is also a small restaurant and store about 5 minutes south of the campground that has most basic supplies (for anything you might forget). In addition to Crater Lake, be sure to check out Rogue River Gorge Viewpoint about a 5minute drive south of the campground.

I stayed in site 1, and while it is close to the hwy, it was not very noisy at all. The sites are well spaced, so you do not feel like you are camping right on top of the next site. Site 1 is also right along the river, so you have the sound of the water as well. The campground was in the process of some maintenance work, so fallen trees and branches were gathered into piles that would be removed in the future. I would definitely stay here again if I were to pass through the area.

We booked this site for 2 nights for 12 adults, 4 dogs and a kid and ended up being 8 adults and 4 dogs. Though the site occupancy is for 16pax, it would have been really tight for that many people. Great location, plenty of open space right next to the site, the dogs enjoyed. It was pretty secluded on both sides with trees, we could not see/hear our neighbors. Water was available 2 sites away and the toilets were located pretty close to the site as well. The women washrooms were super clean at all times, men washrooms had bugs in them and there was no soap in either of the toilets throughout. Overall, a great experience and definitely wouldn't mind visiting again.

Great spot Right next to the river! It was delightful to fall asleep to the sound of rushing waters. The camp host was very helpful, as we were in the area to do the Crater Lake ride the rim event . ( the east rim drive portion of the road is closed to vehicular traffic & bicyclists and pedestrians have an unobstructed view from all the pull outs.) We were unclear as to our timeline and whether we could get back to camp in time AND THE CAMP HOST,had some great advice. This campground is a hidden gem!

Very nice site on the river. Scenic, quiet, super clean bathroom. Very helpful camp host. Caught two native trouts!

This was our base for exploring crater lake for a couple days. The campground is primitive and it appears that they are clearing out some dead trees with piles of brush stacked around. Its close to the road so some truck noise but quiet throughout most of the night. Sites are long, fairly level and accommodate the trailer and truck no problem.We enjoyed the quiet and the dark sky - LOTs of stars!

We absolutely loved camping here! Campsite #18 is right on Rouge River. We fell asleep to the roaring sound of the river, which perfectly blocked any noise we wouldve heard from the highway or our neighbors. The location is oddly convenient. There is a country store minutes away, and plenty of attractions to check out in the surrounding area. The camp host is friendly and professional. Wed love to return to this campground in the future. Highly recommend!

It is a dark campground due to the canyon and trees. You will get about 5 hours of shaded sun. If that doesnt bother you it is a good site. But I like a little bit more sun.

The quiet campground with large individual sites was within easy distance to Crater Lake. Facilities (flush toilets, running water) were reasonably clean and functional. The road for people, like myself, not accustomed to night driving through forest was not scary - just be careful of deer. We enjoyed a nice stroll to the Rogue River gorge pretty much in the campground. The sound of the river eclipsed the mild-moderate road noise, minimal after dark.

The campsites and restrooms were very well maintained. Also, the camp host Kevin was very friendly, helpful. and did a great job.It's a short drive to Crater Lake National Park from the campground, but even spending the day fishing and hiking along the Rogue River, which runs through Farewell Bend, is a nice way to spend a day.

Beautiful campground. Huge picnic table, plenty of room for multiple tents if needed, right across from the bathroom and right next to the river. The only downside would be how some people are going though your campsite in order to get to the river but most of them apologized for passing though and it really wasnt that big of a deal. Otherwise its a huge campground with plenty of space in between neighbors so it doesnt feel like youre camping right next to someone

Beautiful campground. Clean and well maintained. Our site was very private and quiet. The main road is pretty close but the sound of the river nearby covers any sound from the road. There was plenty of room for a big tent or multiple tents. Would stay here again.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
