We had a good time. The campground is absolutely beautiful. The reason for this 3 stars is I wish the road going to the 3 RV full hook up sites was in better condition makes it real hard to get a motor coach into the the RV, full hook upsites

Union Creek Campground - Rogue River was a perfect campground! We were in site #40, right on the creek and it was idyllic. Very clean, large space for our tent and equipment, close access (but not too close!) to bathrooms, nice campfire spot with a grate, and a water source right by our campsite. It was a wonderful stay!

Beautiful and quiet campsites. It was half-full in mid-September but I could barely hear my neighbors.The pit toilets are definitely pit toilets but there is running water and regular toilets at the entrance if preferable. The Rogue River Gorge and Natural Bridge were fun near-by sites and then it was a short drive to Crater Lake. Having Beckies (restaurant) right there was a fun treat as well.

Beautiful site along the upper Rogue River

A favorite campground - old growth forest with creek and river. As beautiful as you could want. Large sites, good roads, super helpful camp hosts. Good trails and interesting features nearby.

Great campsite located along the Rogue River and walking distance to Beckie's Cafe. We had a wonderful evening, the campsite is well maintained, clean, with plenty of space for tents and parking.

Would definitely stay at Union Campground again. Our site (62) was big, but I wouldnt pick it again because it had not tree coverage and was just a bunch of cut down trees lying there. Would just pick another site though. Only a few water fill stations for the giant campground, but overall fine.

Very nice national park campground

Such a lovely campsite! A beautiful patch of woods with a creek passing through. Sites are well spaced, offering a more natural and private camping experience. The bathrooms have a buffer of trees around them to protect from noise and smells. The camp hosts were friendly and helpful. Once of the most lovely campgrounds I've stayed in.

Beautiful campground! Huge camping spots, spread out with lots of privacy. Loved the river access and exploring available. Water spikets were FAR away and we had to drive to them in order to fill our backpacks and water bottles.Outhouse was unusable, literally the worse I've ever seen. I love camping off grid and usually have no problem using a pit toilet. We dug holes.

Camp hosts were great and kept a good eye on things. Site was clean and it was quiet at night. Bathrooms are as expected for a dry campground. All and all, we had an amazing time and will be going back.

Been coming to this campground for over 20 years and never been disappointed.

This was our family's third year here and it's always nice, clean, and a beautiful place to camp. The spaces are large and we love the privacy between them.

So much fun. Biking is endless!! The river trails are Amazing Day or Evening. Don't forget your head lamp. Loved the camp host. He was very gracious with our needs. Thank you for a wonderful time. See you next camping trip!

The sites were spaced out nicely and the bathrooms were clean.

Such a great campground. Lots of room and a beautiful flowing creek. We walked the trail along the Rogue all the way up to the gorge. Such an unexpected and beautiful place.
@DouglasG241363 · Camped on Aug 3, 2025 at Campsite #78
Sites are very nice, campground hosts are great. Pit toilets are a bit gross but there is a toilet and sink near the entrance with running water. Sites are large and many are on the stream/river. Not a bad drive into crater lake at all.
@CiaraR9ADA9DB9 · Camped on Aug 3, 2025 at Campsite #38
The campsite was exactly what we needed! Far enough from other campers to feel private, but close enough to feel safe. A short walk from the toilet and water, and a beautiful morning walk! Definitely recommend for anyone wanting to stay near Crater Lake but didn't know they book up way in advance!

Wonderful campsite! The camp hosts were friendly and very helpful. There was lots of space between the different sites so it didn't feel crowded and the roads are well kept. There was easy access to the creek right across from our camp site as well as lots of fun things to do nearby and an easy drive to Crater lake. Would recommend!

Beautiful campground. Quiet except for the creek/river running nearby. Campground hosts are wonderful.

We absolutely loved campsite 11 and it's location right on the river. Our only complaint was the vault toilet. It was nasty. We had been camping for 3 weeks in similar campsites throughout the PNW. And to compare, the vault toilets at all the other sites were being cleaned twice a day. Union Creek's vault toilet didn't seemed to be touched in the 3 days we were there. Otherwise, we would absolutely return to camp again. Hearing the rushing river was the best sleep of our 3 weeks!

The campground host was kind. Nearest dump station is approximately 20 minutes away -we had to drive there prior to our stay that evening. My husband (who usually can use the bathroom anywhere) said that he couldn't even walk up to the toilets when he attempted to use them instead of our RV -he said it smelled terrible. There was a trail through our campground by the creek that people would consistently walk through the backside of our site -which was not private at all. The camp was very dry during July -so bring closed shoes and older clothing if going in the Summer.

We miss Gary the old host. The new host is nice but not personable

Bathrooms were absolutely horrendous with almost half of them being unavailable. With a full campground, it seems unreasonable. I know this is probably due to NPS being defunded so Im sad to leave this review.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
