Wonderful campsite! The camp hosts were friendly and very helpful. There was lots of space between the different sites so it didn't feel crowded and the roads are well kept. There was easy access to the creek right across from our camp site as well as lots of fun things to do nearby and an easy drive to Crater lake. Would recommend!

We miss Gary the old host. The new host is nice but not personable

The campground host was kind. Nearest dump station is approximately 20 minutes away -we had to drive there prior to our stay that evening. My husband (who usually can use the bathroom anywhere) said that he couldn't even walk up to the toilets when he attempted to use them instead of our RV -he said it smelled terrible. There was a trail through our campground by the creek that people would consistently walk through the backside of our site -which was not private at all. The camp was very dry during July -so bring closed shoes and older clothing if going in the Summer.

Bathrooms were absolutely horrendous with almost half of them being unavailable. With a full campground, it seems unreasonable. I know this is probably due to NPS being defunded so Im sad to leave this review.

I LOVED this campground. The one I mostly enjoyed in our travels. Only 3 RV sites. You can really experience nature here! We got there at night and our site was reserved. We built a fire and enjoyed the silence. It is in the middle of the woods. I would have liked to stay and enjoy this site a little longer.

My campsite was in the back right by the river and there was plenty of shade, very nice. However, the toilet had no lock on it!

My campsite was fantastic! It was on the bank of the Rogue River and very much separated from the neighbors. I felt like I had the place to myself.The camp hosts are very friendly and helpful.On the negative side: Toilets, water, and trash cans are quite sparse.

First Time Camping in Oregon Absolutely the Best!I've been to many campsites throughout California, but this was my first time camping in Oregon and it was by far the best experience yet. Each campsite is generously spaced out, about 2 to 4 times larger than those I've seen in Cal, offering incredible privacy. The area is surrounded by dense, towering pines and lush plants, creating a peaceful, secluded atmosphere. The nearby river adds a gentle white noise, noticeable but never loud.The only downside was the compost toilet with much stronger smell I've visited, but there's a flushing one available at the entrance.

Campground was very quiet .You can walk a Long ways to find a water or a toilet; some people give up and drive. Lack of water spigots is a major problem. Toilet doors don't latch; they just have a sign to knock first, and then some were just too gross. I think the host is doing the best he can, but the campground is very large gets a lot of people with it's location near Crater Lake.Maybe needs a second host site. Nice trail along the river though it goes through people's campsites.

This is a beautiful campground. Our campsite was very private. We were right across the road from the beautiful creek. We were able to hike a short distance to the Rogue River too. There are trails along the river for hiking. Very pretty.

We stayed at Union Creek campground while we toured Crater Lake. The campsite was amazing! It was quiet and we were right on the river. We only stayed one night, but wish we had stayed longer so we could explore the many trails in the area. I would highly recommend and hope to revisit one day.

The campground was quiet despite having so many sites. There seemed to be a good amount of space between sites in the loop we were in (site 93), but it was a partly rainy weekend and there were a lot of empty sites, too. It was nice to hear the river while we were relaxing at the campground.

Large space at site 11. Plenty of flat land right next to the river. Cannot park right next to site but short walk (20m) down to the space. Private from neighbouring sites but quite disconcerting to come out of the tent in the morning and find people fishing less than 2m from tent. advise to pitch further back from the river!

The RV camping spot was nice and wide, with both power and water hookups available. We stayed in June, and it was quite dusty during our visit. One thing to note is that there are no bathrooms or showers near the RV sitesyou have to walk to the entrance of the road to access the public restrooms. Overall, it worked fine for an overnight stay.

Loved this campground! I was in site #13, and it was level, and I mean no blocks needed level. this site backs up to the creek. My rig is a 24' class C. There are lots of opportunities to hike right from the campground. Natural bridges is about 6 miles of easy, mostly flat trail, and the gorge in the opposite direction is about 4 miles.The campground is located next to a restaurant, motel, and ice cream shop. The ice cream was fantastic!A few mosquitoes, but manageable in June.No cell service at all.I highly recommend this campground if you like basic, beautiful, river-running stays.

The site was gorgeous! There were a lot of mosquitoes so bring spray or lotion. The site had water which was very nice. The toilets were vault toilets which were ok. If you wanted flushable there were ones up where you first entered which were nicer to use. The firewood you can get from the camp host is awesome. I also recommend the ice cream shop.

Disappointed that we did not have park staff the first 3 days of our stay. We had no idea how to request an additional day. Our site was reservation only when we booked our trip but when logged back in it was Ff. So we paid in an envelope but no one was there to guide us or answer questions.

Great location and plenty of trails near the creek and river.

We were in spaces 98 & 99 which were located directly on the creek and within a few feet of the many excellent hiking trails. Water was available close to our campspot. This is a large campground and Port-a-pots are available throughout. There is one restroom with flush toilets & running water close to the park entrance. The campground is about 50 minutes from Crater lake which is great day trip & must see. There is a small store, ice cream shop, cabins & a restaurant all within walking/biking distance - Wifi is available there if you can access the password. If not service is available 10 miles down the road in the town of Prospect. Hiking along the Rogue River is spectacular - make sure to visit the Gourge & Natural Bridge sites both of which are close to the campground. There were also great dirt roads that go on for miles and great for e-bikes. Also the creek was stalked with fish while we were there and several people were seen catching a couple.

Beautiful campground. Love all the tall pine trees and the creek that runs through it. Very peaceful. My kids had a great time. We stayed there in order to visit Crater Lake. Would definitely return.

We love camping at Union Creek and we have a few favorite campsites. This site is not quite the same as it used to be but we still enjoyed our stay. Be aware that due to the placement of several large logs, you can no longer fit a large (6+ person) tent without being in the driveway, on a hill, or on tree roots. Also, the creekside path is routed through the edge of the site so there may be a lot of people walking right past your setup.

This campground was a very fortunate find as we were looking at campgrounds in the area. We were fortunate to reserve a creekside site. Both the sound of water & isolation from other sites was very soothing.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
