Beautiful campground, but signage on roads in campground was pretty much non-existent. The camp host was not onsite to show us, nor was there a map that showed where our reserved site was....and we made many wrong turns due to lack of signs at campground intersections saying which site numbers were which direction. Very frustrating.

This was a great site not far from the Rogue River. My site was a short walk to the view the river and a beach to hang out. I took a cool walk/hike along the river. However, I was only there for one night and would love to return in the future. They have pit toilets. An effort is made to make it not smell bad. It was ok. It's a pit toilet.

Love the site we always get, bonus is across the road from the toilet AND is right down the path to the Rogue River and a tiny rocky beach.

Campsites were large and beautiful. We were right by the rouge river and it was amazing.

As usual, the area is stunningly beautiful. My husband has been camping in that area since he was a little boy – and he is 64 years old. I have been camping there for almost 50 years. It is our favorite camping spot. The camp hosts were wonderful this spring, and we had a great time. BUT, we are more and more disappointed each year at the lack of maintenance in the campground. We know what is is supposed to look like (my husband worked for the USFS for a few decades in that area), and it has gone downhill so much. The camp spots are not cleaned out. There are logs downed everywhere and not cut up / cleaned up. And the brush is so overgrown that branches scratch your vehicle as you’re driving on the road to your campsite. This is not a Covid issue; this issue has existed the last several years and is getting worse. Yet the camping prices have gone up, the sites are now online and are harder to reserve, and the maintenance is getting worse. So disappointing.
