Nice park and convenient to Crater Lake! A little too much rain, but its September (frown).

The camp host, Mel, is amazing. She does everything she can to keep this place pristine and awesome. Some facility updates would be nice as the toilets require multiple flushes and several of the mens toilets were completely clogged but that is not on Mel. It would be great if other campers would read her notes! People kept leaving trash by the recycling rather than walking it to the trash. If you go to a place as amazing as farewell bend, leave it better than you found it! We booked site 26 but when we got there, Mel moved us to 28, which was a much larger site. We were right on the river. This is a campground I will gladly return to!

The campsites are great, whether on the river or the larger ones over closer to the roads. Nice hikes down the Rogue River.

Absolutely beautiful location. Many people riding bikes around the campground. Bathrooms were very clean and well kept. Our campsite was right on the Rogue River so we were able to listen to the roar of this year's bounty of water all day and all night. Only a mile from Becky's restaurant and Union Creek Lodge and store so we got our fresh pie fix and could pick up anything we needed at the store. Love it!
Normally we also include a drive up to Crater Lake but this early in the season the north entrance was still closed due to snow.

Will post comments privately to Management. This was a jewel of a campground in decades past. Still quite nice but could use some love...

Great place, beautiful area, and great camping. Hardly anyone there due to the conflict with the care giver companies. The forest service ladies who gave me info were great.

The camp site manager, Wilke was very resourceful and kind. He takes interest in people who are staying and checked the camp sites on a regular basis for safety. His help was greatly appreciated. The camp site and bathroom were clean and quiet.

We were disappointed that they hadn't stocked trout yet at the campground. Also it looks like they recently cut down trees leaving the cuttings and logs lay everywhere. Do they plan on cleaning all of this up?? Hope so, we've been enjoying Farewell Bend for over 20 years and it's our favorite place!

This Campsite was awesome! We enjoyed the smoothing sound of the river just below our camp! The site is a bit tight to get into but, was able to jackknife slightly with our 26 ft trailer to get into the site. We will definitely stay here again soon!

Farewell Bend USED to be our family's favorite campsite and we visited a few times annually. Last Summer on Labor Day weekend, we were shocked to find ALL the bathrooms closed and NO access to water. We were informed by the camphosts that Portable Potties had been ordered and would be arriving in an hour. They didn't arrive until late that afternoon. This is unacceptable when tent-camping, especially for women and children. We were forced to find secluded areas within the campground which is not easy nor hygienic. I asked the camphost what had happened, and was told the water pump was very old and should have been replaced years ago, and this situation had happened MANY times! This is clearly an ongoing issue and it doesn't make sense that it hasn't been addressed. As one of the more expensive campgrounds, I'm outraged that the private corporation who manages the site would pinch profits over maintaining a beautiful, pristine spot for future generations. It really saddens me because we cannot trust that the campground will be an enjoyable experience. We won't be coming back until the pumps are fixed.
