This is an absolutely beautiful campground loved it here, right on the beach, with the tree of life.

So many of the sites were 'reserved' and no one ever showed up. I appreciated the reservation system but not having a way for sites to be released for walk ups is incredibly frustrating.

Great location and well maintained camp ground. Be aware no showers or hot water.

A beautiful stay the location could not have been more perfect we watched the sun go down over the ocean and ate breakfast with a bald eagle right above our site. Close to the tree of life entrance and a relaxing walk on the beach.

Site was clean and the beach access was very close and accessible. It was only a slight downhill, Nothing that would tire you out. The campground was scenic with all the tall trees and then the sun coming through in the morning and the evening. It is a big campground so expect some activity, the sites are close together, but they do offer privacy.There are a couple of sites that are beachfront and closed due to potential hazards however, we use them to watch the sunset. There is a dump station on the other side of the campgrounds which was I believe 5 or $10.

The beach is always beautiful at Kalaloch. What I don't get are the empty sites with reservation only signs that don't get filled. If you look on the website all sites are reserved until the season ends in Sept. That is not the case. Also the promotion of the "tree of life" which years age never had a name, is falling down and hordes of day trippers run to grab a picture and then leave. The staircase out of the day use lot is cordoned off as it is falling off but people climb it anyway. A tourist trap!

Area and being close to the beach is amazing. Tree of life is a short walk away. The only real issues are the size of campsites and the bathrooms. There is no soap in the bathrooms and they are not the newest. They are maintained to a certain extent.

This spot is fine, although it's a bit close to other spots. The main issue is that it's right across the road from some kind of a pump that turns on at random times (like 9pm or 5am) and is audible even through earplugs.
@SusanS9297654 · Camped on Jun 6, 2025 at Campsite #B15
Campsites are nice. Bathrooms need updating. 2 stalls for all the campsites in the loop isn't enough. Great to be steps away from the beach.
@DonnaC2645170 · Camped on Jun 4, 2025 at Campsite #B12
Although the campground is close to hwy 101, its a quiet and peaceful location. Every campsite is close to the beach and you fall asleep to the sound of the waves.
@AaronC1076050 · Camped on Jun 3, 2025 at Campsite #B1
Excellent campsite right by the ocean you can hear it even if your site is not right on the ocean.

Beautiful location!
@LisaK7683911 · Camped on Jun 3, 2025 at Campsite #B19
Nice private sites. But there is road noise, THE DUMP station is not included in site cost (never saw that before), and the bathrooms were FILTHY.
@SteveB4787856 · Camped on May 31, 2025 at Campsite #A23
Small site with limited view due to untrimmed bushes when were there. However, it is only a short walk to beach access.

Amazing location right on the beach. Campsites are clean and well maintained
@EdwardM9946642 · Camped on May 30, 2025 at Campsite #A19
One of the bathrooms was out of order, which is a problem. However, the bigger issue is the overgrown sites. Theres no way to park multiple vehicles as advertised. The beach was barely visible from the site, even though the photos showed a much better view. The site description claims that the campsite is flat, but its not!If the site is open, I suggest you take some time to maintain it.

Beautiful scenery, clean campsites, and every site is amazing! One of the best in WA for sure!!!

Beautiful place to camp and enjoy walks on the beach and access to hiking nearby.

One bathroom was out, but the Park Ranger was an incredibly good, friendly, and helpful person who knew the answer to every question our group had. Really appreciate her!

Site E001 worked well for me and my dog but would be quite small for a family tent. It is a parallel parking situation so vehicle is close to the road. Nice to hear the ocean waves!
@JohnR2194126 · Camped on May 28, 2025 at Campsite #B10
Very convenient location to access the southwest beaches of Olympic National Park. We loved our site, set among mossy trees, easy walking to the bathroom and the beach. Wonderful to pitch a tent with the sounds of the Pacific Ocean.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
