This campground is set steps from beach access, in a wooded area. The fog tends to roll in from the beach often, so be prepared with layers and things being a bit moist! The facilities (bathrooms, water etc) were good.

Campground was absolutely beautiful, our site was pretty close up on other sites, but thats camping generally. Only problem we ran into were the bathrooms. The bathroom in one of the loops was closed, so everyone in the two lower loops had to use the same bathroom resulting in it becoming extremely unclean and without certain items necessary to use it. Apart from that, the nature and climate were very desirable. Great overall experience!

Stayed in site C5. Looking at other sites, this one was not the best but it was certainly better than others. Fit a big tent. It was close to the bathroom (but not close enough to hear or smell it) but otherwise very private. Lots of vegetation gave privacy and the ocean covered most of the sound of other campers. Close walk to the beach. Overall, very clean campground. Would stay here again.

Beautiful area, but tent spot was super small and area was so close to the main road we decided not to stay the night after a couple days of backpacking. Went down to the awesome sandy beach to dip our toes in the water before heading out and had to navigate a severely broken down staircase to and from. Surprised with how popular the campground is that towards the end of July the pathway down to the beach would not be more accessible.

We really enjoyed camping here and will again if we are lucky enough to score reservations. The proximity to the beach is fantastic and for us was the highlight. If you have a large tent, like we did, pay attention to tent pad size in the description. Our site F2 was in direct view of our neighbors. Luckily that wasnt an issue since they had an RV, but something to note. Bathroom availability can be a bit of an issue. There were only two stalls per gender to service a pretty large area. It really just depends on how many people are tent camping vs RVing. When we went there were a lot of tent campers so the restrooms got crowded and only one sink worked. Another thing was getting water. Our location by the restrooms was out of service so we needed to go to the next restroom over and that was a pretty far walk to carry water. Those issues were really not a big deal for us, but just giving others a heads up. Overall a really great campground and we hope to camp here again!

Clean, maintained, up to date facilities (with lots of wall outlets!). Lovely beach with great access. Felt perfectly safe leaving belongings while we went sightseeing, and guests were courteous (except for the one guy with the LED headlamp that was bright enough to light up the inside of our tent like day time from two spots away ) and maintained their spots very well.

It took us several years to finally successfully reserve a camping site. It was frustrating to see several unoccupied sites while there knowing our struggles to reserve an open site. I suggest that if a party does not arrive at a site on their arrival date by 7:00pm, they be fined at least $200 and the site be given away to another party. (If the fines are petty, people wont care) This would also help funding the upkeep for the park.

We had great proximity to the beach, it was very quiet and we could hear the waves! Short walk to the tree of Life. There is a decent space between campgrounds so you don't have to be right up on your neighbor!

What a beautiful spot. The ocean is a view, but there was a bushes in way to see it. I climbed on top of my car roof rack to be able see the ocean at sunset. It was so beautiful. I loved being able to hear the ocean all night. There was steps not too far to be able to go down to beach. One of my favorite campsites.

During our stay we had an incident with lost keys. The camp hosts were extremely helpful and kind. Luckily the keys were found. The week stay was wonderful as usual.

Had a great experience camping here. The ground at site A048 was very flat for a tent and there were enough trees to feel privacy from how close the neighboring sites are. Expect bathroom doesn't have soap. I was nervous about arriving around 8p instead of our 12p check in time since we were traveling, but we just drove right in to our spot without difficulty.

Was there for one night. If you like white noise when you sleep youre going to love the sound of the waves flowing in from the ocean. Great spot to experience the coast at Olympic National Park!

Kalaloch is a beautiful area. This campsite was very close to beach and the Lodge with a camp store and restaurant. I'm taking one star away for the proximity to the highway.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
