Very nice camp site over looking the ocean.

This campground has quite small sites which are close to each other. Also it was a bit difficult to figure out which sites are actually suitable for tents as it seems it's geared mostly towards RVs, with imossible tent sizes like 5x5 feet listed for some sites. The showers are 15 minutes drive on a gas station with super unhelpful and rude staff. But the location right above the beach is awesome, the rangers were very nice and helpful and we really liked our stay at Kalaloch.

Very pleasant visit. Bathrooms were clean and spread out well.

Our family loves Kalaloch. We try to make it there every year!

Absolutely terrible, nothing like sleeping 5 feet away from the constant roar of diesel trucks. This is not camping. Awful experience.

Camped here on August 25-27 and was located at campsite A62, A63, and A65 together with relatives. Too bad we didn't get the beach-side view. Our campsite was beside the freeway where logging trucks frequently pass by which was unfortunately loud especially at night - kept waking me up too so don't choose this site if you want peace and quiet. The campsite was shaded and had ample space for 2-3 tents. However, the only down side was that the sites are too close to each other that you can see your neighbor and their bonfire. Flush toilets and potable drinking water is available here too. Firewood is available at the nearby lodge for $8 a bundle so I suggest driving to the Queets Trading Post which is about 3-4 miles out for $5.50 a bundle. There were no mosquitoes as far as I can remember and with it being in a rainforest, it is quite a bit damp and wet. There are 2 trails in this campsite and we did a night hike on one of the trails (which was a bit scary but fun). Host is very friendly and funny too. Overall, I highly recommend this place for experience and I would definitely come back given that I am able to reserve the beach-side sites. Sunset was beautiful at the beach. Pet-friendly.
