This seems to be a coveted camping spot, hard to get a reservation here, but when you do youve won the lotto! Very lovely, great hiking, fairly private sites. Great camp hosts too. Also close to Ghost Ranch, Echo Amphitheater. Highly recommended!

The site was level and the area clean and quiet. Although I didnt use the showers they were closely. There were a lot of rabbits playing around my site which was entertaining.

Riana Campground is our go-to stopover when we travel from our home in Colorado to Texas and back every year. It is such a pleasant place to start and end our journey. We pull a 33 foot fifth wheel and most sites within Pede Loop are long enough to accommodate truck, trailer, and our extra vehicle. All sites in Pede Loop have great views of the lake. You will not be disappointed.

My campsite provided a beautiful view of the lake and the mountains around it, as well as many places to hike. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful even though it became clear during the week I was there that they were working too many hours. I fear for the future of our federal lands because of the hard-to-reverse and rash actions of this administration. I am amazed at how well the employees of the agencies charged with the care of federal land remain able to sustain the viability of our stunning country. I dont know how long it can last.

We only got to stay one night, but definitely wish it had been more! The views were beautiful, the hosts were very nice, and the weather was great! We hope to be back in the future!

Reservations went smoothly, staff in front booth friendly, campsite/grounds clean. Explored a number of places that were within an hours driveGhost Ranch, Christ in the Desert Monastery, hiking.

Colorful mountains, lake and tranqulity. One of the best Army Corp campgrounds and the best campground in this area. Loops are spaced apart nicely. Campsites are staggered for privacy and scenery. Each Campsite has its own covered patio, fire pit, and a lined garbage can. Some sites have shade. Nice water spigots throughout each campground areas. Great starlink coverage. Camp hosts and park staff are very welcoming and helpful. Good rules that are enforced to keep this place pretty and peaceful. Bath houses need better care and cleaning. Lakeside hiking trail marker is across the road in Cham loop #s 18 & 19 near the lake. Ghost Ranch for hiking trails. Museum is closed on Mondays.

The Abiquiu Lake State Park is spacious and has nice shade structures over the picnic tables. Some camping spots have some nice little trees. There is a nice little playground with a volleyball area too. There are many places where you can sit on rocks and swim into the lake. There are places to launch boats, kayaks, canoes, etc. We traveled 15 minutes down the road to Ghost Ranch and hiked with our dog and really enjoyed the day. We were not able to visit the different museums since we had our dog with us, but will visit those on a future visit without her.

This campground is just beautiful! We have been on the road for two months and this has been our favorite campground! Beautiful rocks, beautifully landscaped, big sites, quiet and peaceful! You will love it!

Great campground with wonderful, friendly and helpful hosts! My kids and I stayed 2 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Each sight has a designated trash can which is collected daily, showers and flushing toilets were very close to our site which was convenient. We had reserved site 37 online but Cindy let us switch to site 39 which had more privacy and much better views of the lake! My kids loved the playground and gave my high energy 10 yr old something to do when we weren't down at the lake. One thing to note is there is not much shade, unless you get a site with a pagoda (which aren't very private) so bring a shade canopy or umbrella. All in all a very friendly,safe, clean and beautiful campground that my family will definitely come visit again!

Only 2 "pull-thru" sites, and they're tight and not quite level, and hook-ups on the wrong side, if you're in a large RV, but everything else about this Core of Engineers campground is stellar. Fantastic views, hiking trails, boat put-ins if you're into that. We've stayed here several times now as an interim stop on a longer trip. We definitely want to come back and spend a week. Lots of unserviced sites, too, clean showers if you don't have your own, friendly campground hosts; what more could you want?

I love this place so much that I almost dont want to post this review (so I can keep it for myself!) Facilities, sites, park attendants, surrounding area, the lake, and just everything are top notch! This definitely has become a new frequent destination for us!

Overall a beautiful place to be in Nature, what with the expansive views and the Lake. The hosts are uniformly wonderful. If I have one complaint it's that there is virtually no shade in the Puerco Loop campground, while there are shade structures in the other, main camp loop. Be prepared to create your own shade.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
