Couple at entrance very helpful, charming and fun. We would drive to site just to visit with them. Great camp sites, wonderful view of lake, mountains and sunset. Clean with all facilities you need.

we loved staying at lake abiquiu... the lake found some relief in the recent snow melt and the views were super nice! the campground was well kept and loved the fenced camping spots and felt safe knowing gate closes at10. each campsite had its own trash can, grill, picnic table and the bathrooms were clean. the camp hosts were talkative and informative. can’t wait to go back

Great campground with terrific views. Stayed at end of season, campground was quiet. Hiking, Ghost Ranch, historical trips are all nearby. We stayed in a non-electric site; we use solar power. Someone nearby did have a noisy generator. Sites with electricity are reserved far in advance. All sites are large, and have views of the lake.

Beautiful man-made lake near Ghost Ranch. The no alcohol policy here is absurd and puritanical and creates an oppressive atmosphere. Adult campers are capable of enjoying a beer by the fire without jumping off a cliff into the lake. The swim beach is just some jagged rocks that used to be under water, as the water level is now so low. Camp host had the grim demeanor of an undertaker. Missed his calling. This place is so heavily fenced and supervised it saps all the joy out of camping. Save $12 and set up a tent in your backyard at home.

Al and Cindy were the best camp hosts ever. So attentive and caring and helpful. The property is beautiful, no - it’s stunning. We had a bit of weather, which is to be expected in July, but it was still an amazing experience. I can’t wait to go back.

Really nice campground with clean bathrooms and good amenities like a shower and trash. A good spot for a quick night away. The camp host was extremely helpful and kind. Beautiful views and gorgeous starry skies. We will be back!

Camp hosts were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating, thoughtful and overall incredible! Camp sites, showers & restrooms were clean, always stocked with the necessities! Camp site garbage cans with liners in them was hugely helpful and made clean up nice and easy! We would definitely recommend this campground and will be back!
