Beautiful views, very clean and well maintained. A peaceful experience other than the sound of early morning gas generators.

Great campground with a nice variety of sites - some sunny, some shaded, some near the creek.

Camp site 12 was beautiful. Not a lot of trees but the site had great views. Weather was perfect. Great boondocking like experience.

The place is nice, but if you want to stay in a quiet and relaxing place, this is not an option. We couldn't sleep due to the mowing all night long. There were many cows around mooing like they're dinosaurs.

Very clean and quiet campground. Excellent host. The road coming to the campground from the east can be a little tricky when it is raining, so keep that in mind. Overall, one of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed at.

The first come - first served sites / pay at the campground sites need to be brought back to this campground instead of requiring payment of the unreasonable recreation.gov fee.

We loved this campsite. We were in site #7. There was enough room for our big 10x15 tent, and then still plenty of room for our kids to play and explore.The camp host was also great. He came and introduced himself when we arrived. We saw him going around and cleaning up each campsite after each group left and did a great job of maintaining a clean and welcoming campground.The bathrooms were clean.

The most perfect campground I could have imagined I got to fall asleep with the sound of a mountain stream running right behind the tent

Site 4 is one of the nicest campsites I've ever stayed at, and I've enjoyed some real zingers over the past few years. It's set off from the other sites, and you can easily walk down to the river and set up a hammock there. There's also a hiking trail through the pines and aspens that you can catch directly from the site. The campground is peaceful and on the more verdant side of the mountains. Right now, in mid-June, it's full of broad-tailed hummingbirds. I did not want to pay $28 to camp one night, but I'm super glad I had the experience! Host was very friendly and helpful.

The website was not user friendly. Thought booked for two nights and it was only booked for one. The camp host was not anywhere to be found the day we arrived or friendly the following day

Using the website to book was very difficult I ended up paying for booking fees three times for our site . And wasnt able to apply our senior discount. So it cost a lot more than it should have to book extra days. You should know that the feds website books by number of days while the state website books by the number of nights. They should explain that somewhere on the booking screen. Confusing to those of us that book both places.That being said said, the campgrounds were very nice and Steve the camp host was friendly and very helpful. The bathrooms are clean and the trash in the containers are picked up daily. This site is family friendly not a rowdy place. There is lots of places to walk/hike. Lots of pine trees and aspens. Very relaxing .

It was a great time. I just wish parents knew how to control their kids screaming more at night and in the later hours of the day, That got a little annoying.

This is a great campground. The spaces are relatively far apart and the vault toilets are clean. Space #3 had just enough space for my 13 foot teardrop and Subaru. If you are using a tent you'll most likely have to use the asphalt pad as the dirt space reserved for the tent doesn't look flat enough for a tent to be set up comfortably. Spaces 4 and 5 seem to have the most privacy. Camping next to the river was wonderful. There is also access to the river from the other spaces without having to walk through someone else's camp.

This is a beautiful campground with a Rio running through it. There is a nice hiking trail at one end. There are only two restroom facilities and neither were near our site. The restrooms had the worst smell of any we have stayed at in the last five years. Definitely has its pros and cons for tent campers.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
