Fall River, MA, located along the picturesque shores of Mount Hope Bay, offers easy access to a variety of camping experiences. To the west, Freetown-Fall River State Forest provides wooded campsites, hiking trails, and opportunities for mountain biking. Nearby, Horseneck Beach State Reservation offers oceanfront camping with beautiful sandy shores and coastal hiking trails. For a more secluded experience, campers can explore the Cape Cod National Seashore, which features miles of pristine beaches and dunes. Fall River’s location makes it a great starting point for coastal, forested, and even island camping adventures in Massachusetts.

Barnes Field Campground is located in the Androscoggin Ranger District, White Mountain National Forest (1 hr 38 min west of Lewiston, ME) with an elevation of 1,286 feet. There are a total of 11 campsites including 4 tent-only sites. The campground is open all year. 7 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers up to 40 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. Prices start at $45.00 per night. Activities include hiking trails.

Alosa Campsites Campground in Northampton County is located 38 min east of East Stroudsburg, PA with an elevation of 327 feet. There are a total of 6 campsites which are all tent-only sites. The campground is normally open from mid April to mid November. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. Prices start at $16.00 per night. Some amenities include swimming. Activities include boating, fishing, hiking trails, floating sports.
