Fabulous campground. Hosts were welcoming and efficient, and our site was large, beautiful, and private. We liked having the option to stay on a tent-only loop. While theres no store, the town of Gorham and an AMC visitor center (open until 10pm) are both a short drive away. We loved our stay here and Im sure well come back in future seasons.

We always enjoy our stay at Dolly Copp. The campground is clean, the sites in the Big Meadow loop are spaced apart to provide some privacy and the campground is close to so many local attractions and trailheads.

Nestled in the white mountains, its a great center for all activities. You can get to nice towns and remote areas easily. Great area for hiking and fall leaf peeping. Get up early enough to watch the sunrise over the eastern peaks! Its neat, clean restrooms and showers are a plus.

A great stay at Dolly Copp. Easily accessible support from hosts for firewood etc. Shower requires a LOT of quarters. Great advice from attendee on both hikes we went on - Pine Mountain and Imp Ledges. Spectacular!

Overall campground is great. The spot I initially reserved (this reviews site) was pretty crowded and had no shower or bathroom access on its tiny loop, so I moved to a bigger loop just north. The campground is clean, well maintained, and was very enjoyable. Great cycling access and can get to a gravel riding rail trail 3 miles out of campground without being on a major road. I will stay here again. :)

This review is based on my 3rd stay at Dolly Copp. I love this campground and it is among my favorites for the type of camping it provides. Dolly Copp has a nice mixture of primitive and partial (water and electric or just water hookup) sites. Having water and electric for the small amount that they charge is a huge plus for us. The location is remote enough to be an adventure while being close enough to many of the White Mountain attractions to keep everyone entertained. If I had one complaint about Dolly Copp it would be the lack of reliable cellular service there, but there are workarounds for those who simply cannot survive without internet and phone service and the campground's pluses definitely outweigh the small inconvenience of being disconnected from your cell service IMHO.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
