Our site in the Upper Woods was lovely. The bathrooms and showers were nice and clean. The staff is great. There was hiking right out of the campground. All very nice.

Beautiful place to camp. We were there in the fall and the colors were terrific. Two things I didnt like: youll need a bucket of quarters to use the shower. One single dump station for a camp that big is not enough.

The Dolly Copp Campground is outstanding as is the staff at Vista who manages the site. Kim and Michael were very responsive in helping us manage some minor changes to our reserved spots. Michael also checked in to see how we were doing and say hello. Camp sites are quite spacious fitting our 34 Class A motorhome and supplying 30A electric and water. A dump station in good working order is available as you exit the park. There is excellent access to both the Imp and Great Gulf trails from the campground, and Gorham, a short 4 miles north, is a fun town to explore. Dont forget to stop by Big Day Brewery for lunch and a pint. It wont disappoint.

Clean facilities, quiet, large private sites

No soap in bathrooms is unacceptable. The campground is beautiful, the hikes from the campground into the White Mountains are spectacular. But, no soap. I won't be staying here again. I also think 10 quarters for a shower represents a challenge for couples staying more than a day or two. I hope the campground considers other ways of paying for showers.

Overall a good experience, but: Site not level with a base of coarse gravelSeemingly no process or instructions for those who are pre registeredWhen registering on site employee was initially unable to find reservationLimited hours for registrationSome restrooms had inadequate water pressure to flush toiletsQuiet Hours were not enforced

This is a beautiful campground. The space I was in flooded during the torrential downpour the first night I was there. It rained all day the second day also, so my a good part of the sight was still standing in water for most of the third day. My only real complaint about this campground is not enough showers! There are only 4 showers total (all private, but for men, women or families) for the entire huge loop. They have a second restroom building but it does not have showers. Overall, my experience was really good. Everything was clean. The host was friendly and helpful. There is NO CELL SERVICE anywhere in the park. That was not a problem for me, but don't expect cell service if you go.
