The facilities were very nice and well maintained. The staff in the ranger station was friendly and the wood fireplace was a nice touch especially on a rainy day. Overall, a great experience!

We love our stay. Lovely private sites and nice facilities. However be careful you must turn into the campground because no RVs are allowed beyond that point.

Sites were a good length for a pull through especially when towing another vehicle.The map directions and signs for campsites were a little confusing considering you need to pull in from the correct direction in order for your hook ups to be on the correct side. Sites are not level! Sewer connection would make these sites almost perfect.

We loved this campground. Site was secluded yet right near restrooms. Location was perfect to explore the Schoodic Peninsula. The Musquito Brewery was nearby and worth a visit!

Its a great campground! The areas are well maintained. Theres enough space between each site to make it feel private. Be sure to take some time to watch the sky and stars.

Our experience at Acadia National Park Schoodic Campground was great! The campsites were spaced allowing vegetation and more privacy. The Bathroom were new and kept very clean. We didn't utilize the the bus system but drove or walked to the trails and scenic points of interest. It is a great campground for bicycles.

Hike-in camping spot was awesome. The sites were secluded from one another and everything was well maintained.

Beautiful campground in a beautiful area. Sites are tucked in amoung the trees and positioned so you don't see other sites. Facilities are clean and new, staff and volunteers wonderful.Only not a 5 because lack of showers - which isn't a terrible issue since coin operated showers can be found just outside the park.
@JenniferC92685 · Camped on Aug 26, 2025 at Campsite #H1
Beautiful site that's easy to access but far enough away from the main front-country sites that it feels private and a little bit more "natural".
@KatieD7074955 · Camped on Aug 25, 2025 at Campsite #A28
An excellent experience that had a quiet vibe, beautiful stars, and a great restroom/dishwashing station! It was so helpful to have food scrap and trash dumping areas so close by. This spot did not get a lot of, so be prepared with your own coverage or ready to shuffle chairs a bit.

This is the place to be in July and August months during the summer.Schoodic Woods Campground is in Winter Harbor and is a National Park Campground.You can take a ferry over and back to Bar Harbor where you can take a shuttles from Village Green to anywhere on Desert Island (Arcadia National Park).Schoodic Woods has Great camping sites that are level and scluded from other RV sites. You do not see your neighbors. Roads are nicely paved. All sites have a nice picnic table and fire pit. Camp sites are large.Bathrooms are kept very clean with a sink for washing dishes which also is kept very clean.All sites have electricity. Loop B has water and electric. If your RV needs water you can go over to Loop B to fill up.There is a free shuttle that goes around this Arcadia pennisula. Plenty of bike and hiling trails throughout Arcadia National park. Cell and Cellular data are also good at Schoodic Woods. Could watch High Definition movies on my laptop.Note: No showers here at Schoodic woods. This is why I only stay 4 nights at a time here. The rest of August I stay on Mount Desert Island at Mount Desert Narrows camground for the rest of August.

The campground was extremely quiet and clean. The host who checked me in was a little reserved but it went smoothly after I asked questions. All facilities and other personnel were great.Campers should know that this campground is far from Bar Harbor and other major attractions of Acadia.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
