This campground was beautiful and very well maintained. It appeared each site was a pull through and very private from your neighbors. We stayed late in the season and wished the campground would have stayed open a little longer in the season. The Schoodic loop drive was absolutely incredible. I have since recommended this drive to friends.

The hike out campsites at Schoodic Woods are the best! We even got there after dark. Our campsite was easy to find, close enough to others where we felt safe, and secluded enough to where it was private and quiet! I absolutely would camp there again!

Nice wooded sites with enough space from neighbors for privacy.

Wonderful Campground. The site spaces are large and the foliage & trees around each site make it nicely private. The bathrooms are well maintained and are in good proximity to all sites. Even though it is about an hour away from Acadia NP & Bar Harbor, the drive to and from is so scenic the time goes by quickly. Will be back.

Beautiful park and facilities. We felt lucky and appreciative the campground was open during govt shutdown. Can't wait to return to this "quieter" part of the park (to either part of the park actually...).

This campground was so clean and in great condition. The trails and especially the Lower Harbor Trail were unlike anything I've ever seen and were so magical. I wish i could have stayed a week long.

This was by far the nicest campground weve stayed at; clean, easy to navigate, great facilities and welcoming rangers at checkin.

Schoodic Woods Campgrounds is the campsite Im always searching for. Great Rangers, clean, full of opportunities to hike, be near water, sit outside in the quiet surrounded by trees (the smell of balsam is awesome).

Bicycle paths are wonderful. The sites are mostly private with great trees or bushes surrounding you. Staff very nice. Likely the best Natl Park campground there is !

The RV sites are like Feng Shui Japanese garden. Each one is landscaped to blending perfectly with its surroundings.

Camped at hike-in site H02. Probably one of the best in the campground. The 0.3-mile trail to the site is well-maintained and very scenic and the views of the mountains and harbors from the top of the site are fantastic. The new bathrooms at the campground are also really well done and surprisingly fancy. Enjoyed the dedicated dishwasher stations and the renewable energy components.

Pleasant experience! Only stayed around 12 hours given our late arrival but the staff was very helpful and friendly in the morning. Clean bathrooms, electric outlets at our site, and potable water with a sink for washing dishes.Camping pad was rocky, but that seemed to be the case for all three campgrounds we were at. Just be sure to bring a sleeping pad or air mattress if youre tent camping and it wont be an issue!

Beautiful, well kept campsite in the middle of the woods! We could not see or hear other campsites and yet we had less than a ten minute walk to our car! Great balance between comfort and isolation!

We always enjoy our stays at Schoodic Woods. If we could stay more than 14 nights during a season, we would snap it up. The campsites are well maintained, very private, and generous in size. The trails lead to breathtaking views, and a visit daily out to the Point is a must. The Rangers are always very friendly and knowledgeable about the area.

The campground, park and specialty the restrooms were unbelievably clean!!!
@JimG4565855 · Camped on Oct 1, 2025 at Campsite #A48
This is a special place. The campground was quiet, except, of course, for the dogs(why don't you just prohibit dogs given that their owners refuse to keep them from barking at any/all times of the day/night?). The bathroom were clean and I LOVED the dishwashing station. Mostly, though, the park is just beauty. And we went to Desert Mountain one day and could not wait to get back to the peace and quiet of Schoodic.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
