Enjoyed the more private spacious sites, loved being able to ride our bikes around scenic road to the point . Not to bad of a ride to bar harbor, however they do have a ferry to take you if you did not want too drive. There is a Walmart on the way there so we used it as a time to stock up on food supplies. We had a great time there at site B01!!!!

Schoodic campground is one of the prettiest campgrounds we have seen; it is wooded, with private sites; everything is clean. The bathrooms are clean/well-maintained. There are no showers.
The area is fabulous; many great hiking trails, beautiful lookouts - Schoodic Point is beautiful. We took advantage of the ferry from Winter Harbor to Bar Harbor which not only is a great ride with beautiful scenery, but also saves the drive all the way around through Ellsworth and onto Mt Desert Island. Best way to ride!

We loved this campground. It was quiet with large private sites, lots of trails to explore, shuttle to the coast for gorgeous views and to sit and watch the surf. Staff were so friendly and helpful that added to the positives.
