This was our second time staying at Schoodic Woods. Camp sites and staff were amazing. Our neighbors were a bit rowdy but that's camping. Overall really great experience.

I had a positive camping experience at Schoodic Woods. The camp ground was clean, the staff were always around checking on things. I felt safe in the camp ground. I wish there would have been showers in the bathrooms.

This was such a lovely campground. We stayed at site A40 which was close enough to the bathroom but felt private. The site was more than large enough to accommodate our large tunnel tent with room to stretch out. The bathrooms were very clean and the dish wash station was excellent. The whole campground is so well cared for and pristine.

Waking around the campground at night we were treated to amazing star gazing. Schoodic point was a short drive away and we were lucky to see both sunrise there and the Milky Way all in one day. Very much enjoyed the museum at the Schoodic Institute nearby as well. Rangers and camp hosts were friendly and helpful.

If you’re looking for an excellent campground on the quiet side of the park, this is the spot!

Schoodic Woods Campground and the Schoodic Peninsula are gems in the Acadia National Park. Quiet, clean campground; helpful, friendly staff, interesting locale worth exploring.
