Love this s campground! I feel safe as a woman camping alone. It's clean. It's pretty. And it's close to meaderies and wineries and great places to explore and then return to camp. The lake is lovely. You can fish and hike, cook out, and for kids, they have movies. I highly recommend.

Sherando is always a special place to visit. The beauty, relaxation, and fun are both plentiful. We never have cell service and use our trips there for a forced break from technology.

Check-in and check-out were very smooth and well organized. The campsite was very clean and well maintained. The camp host was quite friendly, and I noticed they regularly walked around the area to check on things.The confirmation email mentioned that collecting firewood is not allowed. However, the signs near the restrooms indicate that gathering fallen, dead wood from the ground is permitted, which is helpful to know.T-Mobile service does not work at all in the campground. We had to drive about 10 minutes down the road to get a signal. I wanted to mention this for anyone planning their trip.One thing I would like to point out is that the restrooms outside of the main bathhouse do not have lighting, which is inconvenient. I understand that keeping lights on all the time may not be ideal, but installing motion-sensor lights could be a good solution.Overall, it was a very good experience.

It was a nice stay. Restrooms were clean as were the campsites. Park was a bit untidy as far as branches on the trails, lack of trimming, and general appearance, but that could be due to the fact that it just opened up and the park may not be fully staffed.

What an amazing place!!!! Wonderful hikes, perfect sites and just beautiful views everywhere. Stayed here to visit Shenandoah, and loved it!!! The camp hosts were amazing, the rest rooms were clean (although chilly in October :)). Charlottesville was a short drive away. We had an amazing time!!! Thanks again!!!

We are a family of 4 (mom, dad, 2 daughters ages 9 and 11) and we love it here! We book a tent site in the White Oak loop every last weekend in October. The bathrooms are always very clean, and the campground is relatively low-key, peaceful, and not crowded. That's why we come here. However, in the past few years we have noticed an increase in campers who don't respect the peace and quiet that should accompany a camping experience. A degree of loud screaming and talking can be expected from children, but there should be rules against excessive noise at all times of day, not just quiet hours. This includes screaming and yelling, dogs barking, and music that can be heard from a few campsites over. I wish there was language in the confirmation email when you book a campsite explaining good etiquette when camping.

Excellent campground. Big level sites. Free showers. Electric. Nice swimming lake. Hiking. Beautiful trees everywhere. A little off beaten patch but worth it. Only issue is dump station has no water pressure to flush your black tank. Hose is there. Just a trickle of water. Overall great campground.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.
