A-Loop is where its at! Love the easy walk to the lake, which is perfect for paddle boarding. Very dog friendly, good short hikes. Close drive to breweries and other activities if you're looking for that. There is no cell service which is a huge plus for me, great time to disconnect.

An absolutely wonderful vacation. The park is beautiful, peaceful and exceptionally clean. All staff and volunteers were friendly and very helpful. We met a very kind camp host named Kevin and his sidekick Elvis. Kevin went above and beyond to make sure our stay was both interesting and enjoyable. We are looking forward to going back and hoping Kevin and Elvis will be there also.

One of the best things about the campsite besides the cleanliness, atmosphere and space of campsites, is the fact there is no WiFi. Families can enjoy nature and each other without mindless distractions like a phone or iPad. Dont ever change, we look forward to this trip every year. Amazingly the kids never complain about no WiFi, and actually enjoy a real camping experience.

Sherando is a hidden gem! Water and electricity and the National Senior discount. It's beautiful and well maintained. We'll be back whenever we travel in that direction. I highly recommend it.

I love Sherando Lake! I like fishing at the lake. I like camping there. It's a great family friendly place. It's not just for camping you can go and have a picnic or a cookout or hang out at the water. But if you do go camping you can choose from a variety of different campsites. Some with electricity and RV hookup stuff and some that are just tent only sites up in the woods. It's really a great Park. Even the campsites that are tent only still come with bear boxes to store food, fire rings, And picnic tables. I sometimes can't by myself and feel very safe there. Other campers are usually very friendly but respectful of your space. And the staff in the park is great and visible.

Beautiful park and grounds. Clean rest rooms and showers. Nice camp sites. Only issues were the showers are like pressure washers. Be warned the shop doesnt sell ice or firewood or anything for camping or use in the lakes, so dont leave anything home since the park is far from almost everywhere. Fortunately the park is really nice frequent programs at amphitheatre awesome swimming and fishing. Lots of trails. Awesome camp hosts as well.

Restrooms and shower facilities need renovation, very aged and some showers are not fully functional. Early check in restrictions are ridiculous. We arrived 10 minutes early and were told we'd be charged an additional fee! We did not see the Camp host for the first 2 days we were there. No cell service at all.

Nice campground. Friendly people. Shady sites. FYI the bathhouse on C loop does not have a dish washing sink. Bring a dish pan!

Overall very good. Well maintained, but the sites are a bit close together. The maintenance team does a great job, but on the other hand it is the woods - Im not sure daily leaf blowing is really needed Kind of defeats the purpose of camping IMHO. I prefer disappearing into the back woods, but if you wife wants a shower, this is a good place to camp.

Wonderful site. Fire Ring seems like it could use more air slots near bottom to improve having a campfire. Great staff and location.

Campsites and the bathhouse were clean and well maintained, and volunteers were very helpful and kind. The kids loved every minute, despite it being a rather rainy trip. We can't wait to come back!

Love the venue, hate the reservation process. Must use cell/ phone/ internet to pay for use but no method to access pay system available at camp office. Do better. Old method of paying staff at gate worked better for years.

Beautiful well maintained campground, camp hosts were wonderful!

A loop is the most rustic part of the park. No electricity at the sites. Way up in loop A the toilets are clean but also rustic. Loops B and C have electric hookups and can accommodate RVs. Loop A is for tent and some xan take a small RV. I have a car that I attach a tent to and that works great. The campsites are still really well maintained,nice and flat, and come with places to grill or have a campfire, and every one has a picnic table. All throughout the park there are families with kids and everyone is nice! I love Sherando Lake.

Wonderful, peaceful. The only thing I would change is much larger holes In the fire pits. Starting and keeping a fire going was a constant battle. The fire wasn't getting enough oxygen.

Beautiful campsite. Would go back again. Nice to have the lake nearby. A quick one-night stay so no real opportunity to check it all out except to walk around the lake first thing in the morning. Actual camp site was quiet and clean, and surprisingly some level of cellular reception (1 bar).

Really large camping pad with a bear box, long picnic table and fire ring . Plenty of space between each site in this loop of the campground . Would camp here again!

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
