Nice children's playground! Nice beach at lower lake. Quiet area in campgrounds. Nice clean sites.

This park is so beautiful! It was super clean. The bath house is clean and bright and close by camp. All the people were super friendly. I loved it. Will definitely camp here again.

Just a beautiful, relaxing, quiet experience! Friendly neighbor campers and loop hosts. Recommend Consumer Cellular Service for this park for phone and internet. Playground with picnic tables.

We were Site C01 for just a one night stay. Clear sky for Starlink with excellent speeds. AT&T received only one bar of very limited coverage and no over the air (OTA) television reception. Starlink really is well worth the money. Campground is beautiful forest with each site in the C loop very well maintained with 50 amp electric and pea gravel RV/table area. Really a beautiful park and absolutely peaceful.

C1 is an open, sunny spot that is perfect for a tailgate party if you have a satellite dish.

Campsites were very roomy and well spaced and covered in small crushed stone. Electric only; no water at site but the RV fill station is available and well epuipped with a good long hose. Showers were push-button type with a set temp but they worked fine. Seemed to be more staff here than at other campgrounds; all very helpful and friendly. Just 4-5 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway and 15 miles to Shenandoah National Park. (Route 814 south through Love is a less steep road to the Blue Ridge.) The National D-Day Memorial in Beford, VA is about 80 miles south and worth a visit.

Always enjoy the beach and the campground. This time we were out for the day and came back in a hard rain storm and the gate code would not work. Two other vehicles came up behind us and they could not get in s well. We got in because a car came out and we finally found a volunteer to report it to. They got things straight.

Beautiful camp grounds and trails. The road to get to the campground was "interesting".

We only stayed one night while waiting to go to closing on our home in Lyndhurst. The park was laid out very well, and filling up our freshwater tank was no problem. Our carrier is USCellular and we had zero cell and zero data signal. Only upon exiting the park did we get some connectivity.
