Buck Hall has nice open camp sites which are paved. Lots of grass space between sites. The salt marsh is visible from most of the campground

Enjoyed staying the weekend. The campsite was level and paved with a generous area around the campfire ring. 50 Amp power and water was within reach without using extensions. As with any costal area there were sand gnats that bite, so dont forget your insect repellent of your choice

The campground is a mess. Sites are not being blown or swept off prior to arrival, the fire pit was full of ashes and the grass is 8 tall in some spots. I never saw the host, most of the time it did not appear that they were even staying in their site as no vehicle other than the rv was there. The bathroom hand dryer is also not working. I do understand that Buck Hall is due for a makeover but with a full campground it should be better taken care of. Law enforcement needs to be aware that a campers has been in the back of the over flow lot for at least a month, set up but never anyone there. There is also a make shift fire pit back there where someone has been squatting. Campers are also not abiding by the one wheel on the blacktop with respect to vehicles and a camper in a tent even set up and camped down by the fishing pier.

Great campground. Loved being so close to the waterway. Small flying bugs were bad. Was glad I had bug screens.

Beautiful, peaceful sight right on the water. SItes have level, concrete pads with plenty of space between sites. Very convenient dump station with its own hose for flushing your tank. Plus, extremely friendly and helpful campsite hosts!

Busy place, electric boxes have had broken covers for years. Hosts were hard working couple that kept things working and clean. $7 dump charge that costs nothing to provide will result in people dumping along roadways. No way to pay but exact change or check. Bad policy. Pier, boat launch, Palmetto Trail, and Santee Coastal Reserve just up the road... a hidden gem.

Great campground with nice views to wake up to. Nice place to walk the dog and take in some nature. I wondered why the place was always booked and now I see why. Its a beautiful place to sit by the water and take in the peaceful views.

sites are large and spaced out, bath house is clean, very nice host, view of the inter coastal water way at a very good cost. the cons not many stores around for supplies, so stock up before showing up.

Great, quiet, campground right on the Inter-Coastal Waterway (ICW). Truly terrific hosts. Although it was cool and breezy during our visit, the drawback was that we were aware of the no-see-ums.

We enjoyed our first visit to Buck Hall and will be back!!! The campground hosts Pam & Doug were awesome and we can't thank them enough for all they do.We changed sites 3 times during our 14 days- the best site we had was #2. We found plenty to do in the area- Hampton Plantation, I'on Swamp, Santee Coastal Reserve, Charleston, Isle of Palms, Pawley Island and more. This is a nice quiet campground full of friendly people.

This is a lovely campground and we have camped here several times over the past decade or so. It's always quiet and peaceful and the camp hosts are welcoming and lovely. My only major issue with this campground is that we've watched the bathhouse really degrade over the years and it is now time for a major update.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.
